I am just finishing a solo stay at Logasis today. This is a property with 6 wooden cabins to rent. This is not a hotel. The grounds are nicely designed and well kept. It is only 2 years old so the cabins are fresh and clean. Each cabin has a deck and private yard which is nice for lounging or enjoying a BBQ. Logasis is about 45 minutes by car north of the port area in the south. It is part of a small cluster of houses surrounded by fields and wild lands. At night it is quiet and dark. There are no stores within walking distance and depending on the season, there may be no restaurants open nearby at all. For this reason, I suggest you only come here if you have a rental car. Come here if you want to walk to a local beach and see the sunset by yourself, fish, star gaze, snorkel, or just have quiet time to finish that novel you are working on :) Hopefully when you visit the weather will cooperate as it did with me. In poor weather, there is not much to do. I take one point off for the kitchen. I did not have a rental car and in this season, no restaurants were open nearby. So I cooked in the cabin. The kitchen is very simple and there are very few plates and containers to cook and store things in the refrigerator. You can borrow some from the front desk, but those are limited too. So if you are going to cook here, I would suggest just making something you can cook in a frying pan, eat it, and not leave any for tomorrow. Or bring things you can heat up in the microwave or toaster oven. I have to say a big thank you for the staff for giving me sunscreen when mine ran out. I appreciate it so much.
