Hotel Emerald Isle Ishigakijima

Good location, just across the bridge is the pier and airport bus. There is also a bus terminal behind the hotel to other destinations. There are also many restaurants nearby. There is a rooftop terrace with views of the harbour. Breakfast is Japanese rice balls, juice and coffee. A very good hotel

It's close to the remote island terminal, so it's convenient to walk there, and the staff are friendly, so I'm staying here for the second time. It's a wide twin room. The bath in the room seems to have some issues with draining (there is a sign explaining how to drain it), but since it's summer, I only used the shower and didn't feel any inconvenience. What I like most about this place is the rice balls for breakfast. They have a variety of ingredients, and they make them for you when you order. They're warm, like the rice balls your mother makes for you, and you can eat as much as you want. I had pork, stewed beef, and salted rice balls. Miso soup and drinks are self-service. The breakfast area is spacious and stylish. I stayed on a Sunday during summer vacation, and it cost just under 8,000 yen per person on Ikyu.

ユーグレナ石垣港離島ターミナルに近いホテルの1つで、周辺のホテルを比較してリーズナブルな価格で宿泊できるホテルです。その分部屋や狭いですが、ロビー等の他の設備と同様に清潔に保たれているため、ホテル滞在を楽しむ、というより、石垣及び八重山離島巡りの拠点として利用するといいでしょう。 （滞在中、シーツ交換やルームクリーニングをしない代わりに、無料で1点お菓子を貰えますが、ホテルを観光拠点として利用し、ホテル内にいる時間が短いのであれば、そのサービスを利用するといいかもしれません） ホテルの宿泊者であれば（ディナータイム以外は）ロビー脇の食堂で無料でドリンクをいただくことが出来ます（且つ、朝食として、具材に石垣の食材を活用したおにぎりがふるまわれます。おにぎりの具材は自由に選択できます）。スタッフは（一部素っ気ない対応の方も居ますが）基本的に適度な距離感で接客してくれるため、特に不愉快な思いはしないと思います。入口は1階にあり、フロントは2階にありますが、エレベーターで昇降できるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方でも気軽に利用できます。 フロント脇に、小さいながらギャラリーが併設されており、絵画や写真等のアートのミニ展示が催されていることがあります。チェックイン・チェックアウト手続きの時間、食事前後の時間を利用して見てみるのもいいかもしれません。 It's one of the hotels near Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Islands Terminal, and is reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Therefore the rooms are small, but they are kept clean as well as other facilities such as the lobby, so it's better to use it as a base for touring around Ishigaki and Yaeyama islands rather than just enjoying your stay at the hotel. (During your stay, you'll receive one free snack in exchange for not having your sheets changed or room cleaned. If you are using the hotel as a sightseeing base and spending only a short time in the hotel, you may want to take advantage of that service). Hotel guests (except for dinner time) can enjoy free drinks at the cafeteria by the lobby(And for breakfast, rice balls with ingredients made from Ishigaki ingredients will be served. You can choose any ingredients for the onigiri). The staff (although there are some who are not so friendly) basically serve you at a reasonable distance, so you will not feel particularly uncomfortable. The entrance is on the first floor, and the front desk is on the second floor. There is a small gallery next to the front desk, where mini exhibitions of paintings, photographs, and other artworks are sometimes held. You may want to take advantage of the time during check-in/check-out procedures or before or after meals to take a look.

▼立地 石垣島の中心部、バスターミナル・船ターミナルからも徒歩3,4分と近く、周りに飲食店も多かったです。コンビニも徒歩5分圏内にファミリーマートがある為、比較的飲み物の確保にも困りませんでした。 ▼ 設備 建物自体はかなり古そうで、リノベーションされているんだなといった雰囲気を感じる造りでした。とはいえ客室やロビー、廊下などは十分綺麗な雰囲気で快適に過ごせます。 コインランドリーには洗剤も備え付けられてあり、細かな心遣いが嬉しかったです。 チェックインロビーのある2階ではカフェやバーの営業もあり、ホテルから出ずともゆっくりすることができました。 ▼ 総合 値段も安く、上記の要素からもとても満足できるホテルでした。また是非利用したいと思います。
