Guest House Orihime

I booked a twin room. It was clean and comfortable. The location was good and it was perfect for a day when I was taking the ferry or walking around the drinking district. I would like to book again when I take the ferry.

As it was my first time staying at a guesthouse, I was a little worried, but I was very satisfied with the friendly owner and the clean service. I think it's perfect for solo travelers.

I stayed in a private room with a bathroom. It was small but very comfortable. Everything you need is there. I would like to stay here again.

B&B type. The single room I live in is small and well-equipped with common household appliances, including a washing machine, gas stove, microwave, oven, rice cooker, kettle, etc. If you are willing, you can go to the nearby market to buy materials to start your own business. With a small balcony and clothes drying equipment, the scenery outside is great. You can walk up the bridge. There is a small viewing area in the center of the bridge, where you can see the whole port. The neighborhood is relatively deserted and there are not many businesses. However, Ishigaki itself is very small. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the area with the public market as the core, and there is a FamilyMart and a duty-free shop 3 minutes downstairs. It's about a 10-minute walk to Ishigaki Port, from where you can take a boat to other outlying islands. There is a pier not far downstairs, where people fish at night, and there is also a fishing gear shop. Anyone who is interested can try it.
