I’ve just read a review by Rosa, Aug 2024. I have to totally disagree with her comments. I’m 72 yrs old. I travelled to this paradise Hotel Angelina alone. This hotel is wonderful in every way. Yes, the rooms are not 4 * but a room is very reasonably priced and my room was very comfortable . But you sleep with the sound of waves crashing. It’s paradise. You can sunbathe near the rocks or walk a couple of hundred yards and there are sand beaches. And lots of lovely restaurants. The breakfast served each morning is wonderful. Freshly baked warm home baked cake., fresh fruit, meats and cheese. A small thermal pool within 50 mtrs.owned by the hotel with showers,. . There is a superb Italian eatery down the lane. You can get a speedboat to St . Angelo if you want some liveliness every hour. I can’t wait to go back. The owners and staff are lovely

Your picture of the property is very misleading. There is no beach it’s been eroded over the years.
The sea is very rough. Impossible to swim in it there is over a 1 mile walk from dry land where the bus stops.
The walk
is treacherous with lots of rocks and rough sea that reaches your knees
I have never experienced such a terrifying example of a route to a hotel in my life
Your picture is misleading there is no beach and I have pictures ti prove it.
For two week there were thunder storms a raging sea pounding at the walls each night.
A nearby property collapsed into the sea a few years ago and the family died.
I felt very scared to stay in the hotel and could not wait to leave.
It’s a 1970 decor hotel. It was a horrendous experience. Manager sweeps dirt from each day into the sea.cleaner also .

Adored it!
Authentic italian hotel, old fashioned decor but adds to its charm. Very clean, friendly welcoming staff.
Not as difficult to reach as some reviews had stated, no5 bus from port to Moronti and follow the board walk down the beach about 10mins. May have to walk through the sand for part of it, so may not be for everyone but absolutely stunning location, paradise for sea lovers!
Choice of beach bars and restaurants along the beach.

This is a lovely place to stay for a few days. Such a lovely location directly on the sea. Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. The rooms and facilities are very basic, but that doesn’t matter when you are in such a stunning location. Lovely fresh croissants at breakfast and good coffee. Comfortable bed and can hear the sea lapping against the shore. We would definitely stay again if we were to return to Ischia. Thank you so much.

L'Hôtel Angelino est admirablement géré par une famille très accueillante. Il se trouve désormais les pieds dans l'eau (avec l'érosion, la plage de Maronti s'est beaucoup réduite), et toutes les chambres donnent sur la mer avec un balcon. La cuisine est préparée tous les jours par les hôteliers, les portions et la qualité sont au rendez-vous pour des prix très raisonnables ! Les hôtes font preuve d'une grande gentillesse et attention, l'hôtel est très calme et l'atmosphère très paisible, avec le bruit des vagues. Un grand coup de coeur sur cette île. Attention toutefois, il est conseillé d'être plutôt valide car avec la montée de la mer, l'accès à l'hôtel n'est pas très aisé et nécessite une marche sur la plage et un petit pont de planchette. Cependant, dans une Ischia très touristique cet isolement est aussi bienvenu !

Ambiente familiare, cucina ottimissima e genuina con prodotti di qualità locali. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Non sempre c'è la spiaggia ma la location conserva il suo fascino naturale. C'è la possibilità di tuffarsi nella curativa acqua termale della piscina dell'albergo. Terrazzo caratteristico da cui si possono ammirare tramonti suggestivi.
