Really like this hotel and spa. Staff friendly and helpful. Spa and treatment very nice. Thermal suite a little busy when we were there and nowhere to sit and relax as all loungers taken. Outside area and hot tub v good and relaxation room post treatment is excellent. Light lunch menu a bit disappointing. A salad bowl with chicken tenders was served is a small red plastic basket which didn’t really fit with the rest of the experience. Good amount of chicken but hardly a “salad bowl” and served on top of paper which got soggy with the dressing. Chips amazing though. Coffee v good. We would definitely go back but would avoid the food or go for something else. All in all a very nice experience.

The treatment with Aisha was wonderful, really pleased and feel it was worth every penny. The staff were so friendly and made the experience better. My one complaint was the number of treatments scheduled for the same time, the tranquility room was a bit like a train station waiting room as everyone finished at the same time so it wasn’t very tranquil.

Thoroughly enjoyed our Spa day at The Gailes Spa. Staff are professional, courteous, and very friendly. The afternoon tea was delicious and a special request was arranged without a fuss. After a couple of hours enjoying the lovely facilities including the outdoor spa, the thermal pool, sauna, steamroom, and Rasul experience, we had two spa treatments (a highlight of the day) - the therapists are outstanding. Very happy to recommend and looking forward to a return visit asap :)

Scott is an excellent golf coach. Within minutes he had me hitting the ball so much better buy only making a few adjustments.

I had a facial with Sophie who was amazing, she explained everything and recommended products that were best for my skin type. It was a very relaxing experience and my skin feels amazing and refreshed

Very poor experience in the restaurant with extremely overpriced salads of very poor quality & king prawns which were served still frozen. *Health & Safety concern with potential for food poisoning* Zero imagination from the chef when creating a salad - basically served 1/2 a bag of lettuce, 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber & some blocks of cheese. Then charging £18 for it. Server took my contact details & advised the manager would be in touch, 5 days later, still waiting. Very disappointed & won’t be back.

This place is objectively bad. Please look at the pictures of my recent "Simply Escape" stay. I am NOT saying the reviews are fake, and I would never suggest that an AI had a hand in writing anything positive. We had booked a package deal for the Hotel, Restaurant and SPA. Everything in this place is bad. The staff remind me of the old show, Fawlty Towers. No one had a clue what was going on, to the point it was almost comical. Well, we had to laugh or it really would have got to us. From start to finish, this place was bad. Check in - the staff didn't know who we were, and repeatedly asked us if we had booked somewhere else. Finally got to the room. I've been to better Travel Lodges. The bed was old, the mattress was so worn it was no longer flat. Stains on everything. No Air conditioning, and the window didn't open properly. The bathroom had mould all around the silicone. The maintenance of the place was of very low quality. Just look at the pictures. It was my 41st birthday, so the "Happy 18th Birthday" sign was a nice touch. No USB sockets or plugs near the bed. This is 2025, and not acceptable for a hotel today. The SPA was ok. Certainly nothing special, like the reviews would have you think. If you'd never been to any other luxury spa, then you might rate this one. Again, with this, the staff didn't have a clue what was going on, and the treatments were not of 5-star quality. Just try the W Hotel Away Spa in Edinburgh, and it is a world apart. Since leaving, we now have random charges applied to our card, and when you call to find out why, no one knows anything or seems capable of helping. I could go on, but I think you get the idea. Keep your money and spend it on literally anything else, and you will get better value.
