I know it's not something you can ask for in Iquitos, but the bathtub never filled up and the breakfast was very limited. I don't think it was good value for money.

The Double Tree Hotel is a five star hotel in Iquitos. The only hotel to stay in while in the city. I have been staying at this hotel for the past 16 years when it was the Hotel El Dorado. I work in the Amazon with a remote river community. I stay in the jungle for weeks at a time. When I finally make it to Iquitos, I am fondly and warmly greeted by everyone. As a Hilton member, the hotel tries to upgrade my room which usually they do. It’s a treat. My room is very clean and luxurious as you expect of a Hilton. You have a tea pot in your room which I find charming. The restaurant is also five star. The menu is diverse, food is delicious and the meals are a great price. They have the best breakfast I have ever eaten! There is a swimming pool and nightly entertainment. It is located at the heart of the city in the Plaza de Armas. A very safe part of the city to stroll at night. In my room, I received a letter from the manager. It made me feel special and very welcomed. As I was about to go to the airport, the manager, Mr. Giofranco Bassanini approached me with his card and asked me about my Hilton experience. It was such a nice finish to a lovely stay. Rudy, who is the events manager checked on me daily to make sure all was well with my stay. When you are far from home, being in a hotel like this with everything being wonderful I give this lovely hotel and it’s wonderful staff 10 stars or more!!!

We state e here with a large delegación. The arquitecture is unique and original reflecting the history of the place. The breakfast was abundant, varied, besutufully presented and out of order . The staff was nice and friendly. It had the particular jungle smell but that was expected is on the jungle

Te apoyan en todo y siempre están pendientes que pases una excelente estadía para que quieras regresar pronto. Está vez vine por trabajo, pero hace dos semanas estuve con mi familia, y mis hijos no querían salir del hotel de lo mucho que disfrutaron. El desayuno es a la carta y es espectacular.
