We requested an early check-in in advance, but unfortunately it wasn’t guaranteed and we had to wait until 3pm to get our room. That was a bit of a letdown after traveling. That said, once we got in, the room was massive, spotless, and truly impressive – very comfortable stay overall.
The location isn’t the most convenient; most of the good food spots were a 5–10 minute drive away, so not exactly walkable if you’re hoping to explore on foot.
On a positive note, the rooftop bar was a great surprise – nice atmosphere, and we really enjoyed a couple of pints there. Would recommend the hotel if you’re okay with a short drive for meals and don’t mind checking in later in the day.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything was well-organized from check-in to check-out. The staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities provided.
The breakfast spread was great with a good variety of options, and the facilities were well-maintained. Wi-Fi connection was strong throughout my stay, which was a big plus. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and overall experience. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay here again!

It's not bad in Ipoh. Although it's a five-star hotel, it feels a bit old and not on the same level as the five-star hotels in China.

Location wise this property is excellent. However, amenities and staff service will need to be improved. Breakfast at their Tiffin kitchen has somehow improved, but still the variety they offer is limited. May be good for business travelers, for leisure and family travelers Weil Hotel management still need to do more.

Love the vibe of this hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The hotel even has co-working space and I love their recent innovation of offering night super for all guests. Thank you for the hospitality! Really appreciate the effort in making my stay so memorable!
