Hotel in posizione ottima sulla spiaggia di Mylopotas…ma Ios ha così tante spiagge meravigliose, anche più di questa, che fermarsi lì sarebbe un delitto! La struttura tipicamente cicladica è molto semplice e basic, stanze pulite ma un po’ “spoglie”. Letto un po’ piccolo. La notte c’è un gran rumore che proviene dalla strada, per non parlare delle zanzare dalle quali siamo stati letteralmente assaliti, eppure nei giorni precedenti presso altro hotel di Ios non ne avevamo visto manco mezza. Colazione molto scarsa, lascia a desiderare sia come qualità che come varietà. Staff un po assente e distratto e non parla inglese. Rapporto qualità/prezzo un po’ esagerato per la struttura che è.

Super ! Dimitri e il suo staff splendidi. Vacanza memorabile. Letti super comodi e appartamento confortevolissimo. Eccellente la colazione con prodotti tipici e altro ancora. La posizione è superlativa su una delle più suggestive spiagge di IOS. Incantevole e superpulito.

Mi reco per 10 giorni in questo piccolo ma incantevole albergo in perfetto stile greco che affaccia sulla famosa baia di Mylopotas a Ios.La prima colazione non abbondante ma di ottima qualità,le camere sono pulite e hanno una bellissima vista sulla baia sottostante. Unico piccolo neo una sorta di club per ragazzi che suona musica ad volume,niente di particolare si riesce a dormire bene.Consigliato soprattutto per la posizione

Eva could have not been more helpful when we had to rearrange dates due to the ferry strike. She is very charming and relaxed. As for Gorgona it is the best place we stayed for many reasons. The hotel itself is immaculate our room Pikri Nero was very spacious with a separate cooler bedroom. Bed very comfortable and superb very powerful rain shower. Very calm and serene vibe with delightful owners. On the best beach in Ios and the outlook from our balcony was the best waking upto the sunrise daily. The bus stop was outside the hotel so perfect for getting around. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Perfect location in Ios, kind and professional staff. Very good and rich breakfast. Clean and tidy. Strongly recommend! Thought Ios was a very loud place, instead we found the perfect combination between quiet and amusement. Restaurants and shops are near. All the amenities right on hand. Thank you 😊

I have been holidaying on the Greek islands for 30 years, and this is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Gorgona (Mermaid) is perfectly Located at the far end of Mylopotas beach,, with the bus stop outside the door. You can walk out the door onto the sand of Mylopotas. It is old style Greek island accommodation but manages not to be old fashioned. The attention to detail is truly remarkable. We had a clean, simply decorated, comfortable room with with everything we needed and a generous terrace looking towards the beach, which was a beautiful cool spot in the evening. The bathroom was an unexpected surprise, beautifully presented with a great shower. Breakfast is simple but perfect.

A traditional style but also very modern. Spotless, run by very friendly nice people. Breakfast was exceptional, especially the local preserves and Ios honey. Our room had a great modern shower and toilet. The hotel is decorated beautifully with a nautical theme, there are lots of ships and mirrors made from old driftwood, old anchors, buoys, shells etc. This is as good as it gets, the care and attention to detail by the owners is very evident. The hotel is right beside the last bus stop on the beach and you can more or less get anywhere worth visiting on Ios from this location.
