Just stayed here last week for two nights. Had breakfast on last morning, it was the best breakfast I’ve had at any Scottish hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Only thing I wish the chef didn’t cover everything in green stuff! Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Restaurant for evening meals is excellent. Food first class. Staff are friendly and polite. Definitely stay here again next time I visit Skye .

I stopped at the inn for lunch during a road trip, because there were little options left and by checking the reviews, it seems nice and affordable. The menu was a little confused, by mixing Indian, Mexican and Scottish food but it was ok. What is what not ok is that everyhing was over 12 pound. I was travelling with a companion, so we were not in for a full lunch but we ended up paying around 40 pounds for two starters and two soft drinks. Definitely too much for my taste. (even the gas station was overpriced) The food was ok, but not worth the price they ask. So, if you are starving and have no option, this place is ok, but beware, the bill will be high.

We made a quick stop at the Cluanie Inn’s bakery and coffee shop during our drive along Loch Cluanie — and it ended up being one of the highlights of the day! The coffee was hands-down the best I had during our entire trip to Scotland, and the gingerbread loaf was absolutely divine. The shop itself is charming and cozy, with friendly staff who made us feel right at home. They even had feed available for the Highland cows across the road, which added a sweet and unforgettable touch to our visit. Beautiful location, warm hospitality, and a must-stop if you're passing through!

I recommend avoiding this establishment. A rip off and con. Have been staying here for a few years but have serious gone down hill and not worth staying there anymore, TV don’t work properly, food is under cook, manager is extremely disappointing, and the price of the food and is extremely expensive for the area for a disappointing quality. Their morals and customer service and extremely questionable.

Having just come out of Hospital in Inverness,I was given a lift to cluanie Inn ,as it was Half way point for my mum to pick me up to take me rest of the way back to Portree.I went in to Hotel to use the toilet and decided to buy something in return for use of the toilet.I purchased 2 tins of Irn Bru..and went to pay by card,it was at this point my Jaw dropped,I was charged £9..that's £4.50 each for the two tins ,when did such a price become the normal.?. while waiting outside for my pick up,we were constantly observed with a menacing look from staff..There is no private signs ,and this is a right of way ?. Will never cross the door if this place again.

A place of unexpected welcome. A family run business where service and guest comfort comes first. The rooms are realistically priced and clean and comfortable. The welcome is outstanding. If you stay be sure to have dinner. The chicken biryani should fill even the heartiest eaters. Formerly what was known as a Kingshouse. It has catered for travellers for eons. It does it with ease and calmness. What a great place to stay. The staff are all friendly, polite and professional. Their focus is customer centric. Outstanding. Long may it continue. It also has a family run bakehouse with fresh provider. It has its own fuel supply and powered by generators. Also focus on community. I would heartily recommend this to family and colleagues. Long may it thrive.

The Cluanie Inn is a very nice hotel placed right in the middle of some amazing hill walking. There are several Munros accessible from right out the door. The hotel is very well cared for, and the people who work there are all very nice. The food in the restaurant is good and the breakfast buffet is outstanding.
