When you get there, email the landlord for the room number and password. You then take the key from the black box to open the door. It's usually easy to open, but we didn't have the password when we arrived, so we emailed the landlord to get it and let us in. It's very convenient to cook, as there's a kitchen. The only thing is that the sheets in the room could be whiter...

24-hour hot water, the bed is clean, but the room has a musty smell, and the location is very remote. It is not recommended to stay unless you are driving by yourself. The price is not bad.

We stayed in micro lodge 6 and hobbit houses 2 & 3. All of them well clean and well maintained and each had their own wee garden area to enjoy the view & sounds of the beautiful river that flows just over the path. The staff were friendly & helpful. The shower and toilet building is perfectly fine for glamping and the water pressure is good. We enjoyed our stay & felt like the reviews didn’t do it justice

No towels provided on site and we were not aware of this until checkin. We were given a self check in code that was incorrect and were unable to get into our room. We booked the four person quadruple suite and when we checked in there were only three beds and a sofa with no extra linens or pillows. We called to discuss this issue and were told that we had booked a 3 person room despite my confirmation for the quadruple room. We were forced to pay an additional £20 for a bigger room.

We are currently here with our 4 children. The rooms are what you pay for you arent paying for a luxuary hotel, clean bedding, clean toilet, cosy rooms, plenty of space. Attached in another building is a kitchen which is kept very clean, seating area and fridge, gas cooker, kettle, kitchen basics from forks to pans. We decided to book another night on top of the 2 we are staying, Susan the lady who runs this place is brilliant, made us feel welcomed, told us what she expected of her guests, which is just general basic respect, clean up after yourself and be considerate on your noise level. Further down is glamping pods which is connected so if you fancy a different stay then there is always that too. Will most definitely stay again
