The hotel is under renovation. It is old. The service is good but there is no sound insulation.

The room is clean and comfortable, but there is no air-conditioning and it can be a little hot sometimes. The temperature sense is different in different rooms, you can ask the front desk. But it's fine to live in.

I have stayed in a hotel of this brand before. With such a high price, I really look forward to staying here. The actual room type is relatively old and the facilities are average.

The palace hotel is ideally located and really beautiful. We had a great time in Inverness and were really looking forward to relaxing in the pool and spa area. Eeeek. Totally regret this. We went and waited in the sign in area with a few people in front of us. Unfortunately the sign in area is where the pool is located and it was overwhelmingly boiling - sauna level! The staff had massive fans behind the desk to give them some sort of heating but surely that must be illegal for them to work in such conditions. They were sweating and red faced. I had to sit down to wait as I have a disability and I felt quite faint. The disabled changing room is also in the pool area so it was just as hot. I spoke to some other people in the line who have memberships and they said that this had been an ongoing problem for months. I really couldn't go again under these conditions. Very sad for them not to fix this promptly.
