You couldnt ask for a better spot. Tons of great restaurants and pubs just steps in either direction. The staff goes out of their way to help. Tommy was on duty during both of our stays. He was super helpful getting things sorted, like a taxi to the airport. James was also really helpful, made sure we had plenty of space to set up our bikes.

Struttura al centro di Inverness molto giovanile con un servizio di accoglienza informale ma efficiente. Camera non molto grande essenziale e funzionale con un bagno degno di questo nome ( sempre con assenza di bidet!) ma con una doccia ben modulabile. CONSIGLIATO

We were there as a group of 13. Terrific location and base for seeing Inverness and the surrounding area. The rooms are clean and provide the essentials, at a good value, without all the frills you’d pay a lot extra for. Everything you are likely to need is within a short walking distance: e.g., Rail & Bus Stations, laundry service, Co-Op for groceries and essentials. Great pizzas and beer at Black Isle. Also an excellent whisky selection. Love the Secret Garden! We’ll be back.

Voor ons verblijf in Inverness boekten we een kamer bij Black Isle Bar and Rooms. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen en toen we aangaven liever op de 1e dan de 2e verdieping te zitten, werd er gekeken of er een kamer beschikbaar was. Dit bleek het geval en we kregen deze ook. Het was een nette kamer op de hoek. Je zit in het centrum van de stad boven een populaire pub dus het kan wat lawaaiig zijn en er is geen lift dus je moet wel trappen maar op zich is het een prima locatie want bijna alles is op een steenworp afstand en de mensen zijn vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We popped in for a drink one sunny day and ended up spending all afternoon there once we discovered the secret garden. We met some lovely people, some locals, a young couple from Canada and a guy from London. Great atmosphere, great chat and great beer. Highly recommend!!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la partie hôtel. La chambre est assez grande mais très sommaire. Il faut évidemment s'attendre à un peu de bruit venant de la rue et eu bar attenant, mais on est prévenu de cela dès la réservation. Le staff est très sympa et accueillant. Position centrale dans Inverness avec une belle offre de pub et restau à 5min à pied. Attention, pas de possibilité de se garer directement dans la rue, mais on peut le faire pour 7pounds les 24h au parking de Rosestreet qui est à 3min à pied.

Hôtel au bon rapport qualité-prix
Chambre assez minimaliste : en rapport avec le prix pour le secteur, mais il ne faut pas s’attendre à un palace. On y dort et on repart vite.
Accueil sympa, mais aucun service spécifique à la l’hôtellerie.
Parking dans la rue possible la nuit, mais il faut déplacer la voiture tôt le matin ou payer une heure pour rester un peu plus.
La partie bar / restau fait le taf : bière pas mauvaise, pizzas bonnes. Mais on a préféré finir la soirée au Mac Gregor’s avec une ambiance terrible, très haute en couleur avec de la musique live celtique : superbe ! Et vus les habitués en kilt, on ne s’est pas trompés.
