It will be awesome. This is Florida in the Natural, with all the comforts of home. Outdoor activities nearby are Rainbow Springs, boating, tubing, antique shops in a quaint town. We are about 9 miles from the Rainbow river access point (Hwy 484 and the river). You can rent Tubes or Kayaks at Aquatic Wilderness Adventures or the KP Hole, County park.The State Park is just North of the KP Hole county park. You can rent kayaks or tubes at the KP Hole as well.Right on the river is Swampy's Bar and Grill. A great place to eat and relax.The KP Hole offers the same rental and pick-up services.The Rainbow River State Park is just a mile or so North of the KP Hole.La Fish Camp is on a wide canal about 200 yards from the Withlacoochee River. Across from the channel is a large Cypress Swamp, wildlife, Bald Eagles, A family of wild turkeys, etc are plentiful. This is Florida in the wildYou CAN swim with the Manatees in Crystal River. We are 40-45 minuets from Crystal River. We have had a number of guest that came to swim with the manatees. Lake front cottage fits 3 people, adding 1 queen air mattresses for an additional 4 people, making the total 4 people. The home sits on Lake Bellamy, that is apart of Lake Hernando on Potts Wildlife management area where there is great fishing, boating, jet skiing, skiing, paddled boarding, canoeing, air boating, whatever you like the options are endless. This 2 bedroom totally remade home has 1 queen bed, 1 twin bed, and 1 queen air mattress available for a family vacation on the lake. There are two living rooms, one when you first walking with a large sectional, fire place, and large tv, the other facing the lake with extraordinary views. The well lit boat dock has cleats to tie your boat to , along with an outdoor fire pit and dining table for your enjoyment. You will be 24 miles from Ocala, and 2.5 miles away from the small town Hernando in Citrus county. You are about 20 miles from Crystal river, and Homosassa rivers as well. If you vacationed here, you could get the best of both worlds in this unique area, doing fresh water fishing one day, and salt water the next as you are so close the these rivers, where the manatees and scallops are. They don't call it nature coast for nothing!We're looking for older, responsible renters, minimal children, and repeat visitors as well.
