About 10 minutes from the house, you can find great shopping and dining at Fishermen's Village. We are very centrally located to many things, interstate 75 is about 5 minutes away and once you are on that you can easily get to Orlando for Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World all in about 2 hours. It's about a 1 hour and 35-minute drive to Tampa/Bush Gardens. Within an hour you can easily take day trips to St. Armand Circle in Sarasota, Naples, Marco Island, Boca Grande, Estero, and many more places I can't even think of right now! LOL ...Oh there is also a ferry out of Fort Meyers that does day trips to Key West. Lastly, we can't forget about all the amazing Beaches that you can get to within 45 minutes, Siesta Key Beach.
