Our poolside retreat has 3 separate suites that each sleep 4 people with their own bathroom. This little piece of Louisiana paradise has new furnishings, a beautiful pool, outdoor kitchen with a lighted entertainment area, gas grill & an attached outdoor bathroom all enclosed in a beautiful landscaped fenced-in yard for privacy. We also offer large flat screen smart TVs throughout the home, free WIFI, a poker table, games, a fully stocked coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar, and an office area. You'll find a stocked kitchen with all necessities needed to cook meals as well as disposables available so you have less to bring & less to clean! We also provide a bath towel and pool towel for each guest. We do have a number of life jackets and a few pool toys for our younger guests also. We want our guests to be able to pack less and get more! We provide clean linens needed, toilet paper, a roll of paper towels, a 30 gal trash bag for each night rented, bathroom soap, bodywash, & shampoo, kitchen dish and DW detergent & laundry detergent needed. GGuest UserFabulous as always! We always enjoy our stay. Zoey Duplichain is a fantastic concierge and very attentive to the details. Our special order chocolate cake was fantastic. The water was perfect and the food is delicious. We absolutely loved it and we are going back next week! Can’t say enough about it! We love bills on the beach and Austin is a great server. The beach is great for walking at night and the atmosphere is great. Plenty of things to do and lots to see for everyone. We love golden nugget. The black jack is wonderful and they keep the drinks coming. We are going to celebrate my twins 21st birthday on Monday. I can’t wait it’s going to be absolutely perfect. We’ve ordered a cheesecake from Vic and Anthony’s. I’m sure it will be nothing short of amazing.

GGuest UserEnjoyed my stay. Nice, clean room. Witness a guest stumble past 2 staff members with a beer in his hand. The guest eventually fell at the elevator. I informed the staff members present. ID staff informed me that he called someone but did not leave his post. A third staff member arrived as we entered the elevator. I can understand the member checking ID could not leave his post, but the other guy standing closer to elevators could have made some type of effort to assist.

GGuest UserThe hotel had a very nice, clean, fresh appearance to it. It was very nice, very clean, and very neat. First time that I have encountered a walk-in shower with the sliding doors, LOVED it. The staff were very polite and professional. No issues at all. After we have checked out and before we have left the location, we discovered that I have forgotten to get the rain jackets. The staff gave us a key card to get the jackets with no issues. They were great. Will book again in the near future!!!!!

They would not remove the extra charge and kept telling me they needed to confirm the booking with Trip as if that was relevant after they admitted it was a mistake. I now have to dispute the charge with my CC company. Beware!

GGuest UserI booked this Americas Best Value Inn & Suites @ Lake Charles I210-Exit-5. There was NOTHING that was comparing to a suite. In fact, it is more like a motel class. There were several factors that made us NOT HAPPY staying here, and will probably will not stay here in future. I am explaining why I rated this hotel/motel below its class: (a) first the hotel is on ”cheap” side. The towels provided were very limited, and there was no towel for the floor. The lighting in the room, as well as thru-out the property was annoying. Everywhere I see bright florescent day-time white light, so bright. The room has this same light from ceiling down. It was so bright, no adjustment. It's hard for a person to sleep, while the other person is awake and needs light. The room is a lacking several fundamental items for a hotel, no coffee machine. The shampoo/soap provided were some sample 1-person ones. The ”breakfast” area was a joke. The only thing proved was coffee, that were not good at all. Yet, trip.com's reservation had me selected either room with or without breakfast. So, I booked with breakfast. But there was nothing provided. I asked the receptionist, he said, they don't have breakfast, just coffee.
The plus side was that, they provided a good size refrigerator. And they have the microwave in the 'breakfast” area.
Although it seemed a recently built hotel, but it's just a basic motel, lacking basic necessity items in hotel room. Overall, I would not stay here again.
