"The location of the hotel is really convenient, 10 mins walk to the marina and the old city. The rooms are good size with a good size ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was a decent spread. The best part of the hotel is the 24 hr reception. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel"

"Unfortunately, the stay was not very comfortable. The room heater was not working, making the room extremely cold during winter. There was also a very loud noise coming from the air conditioner; this was reported to the staff, but no action was taken. The room itself is very small, and the shower area in the bathroom is also quite cramped. While the hotel is affordable, I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. That said, the receptionists were kind and polite, which was appreciated."

"We loved this hotel by the Marina and the special welcome to my husband, who turned 60 on the day of our arrival. The kind attention was much appreciated. The room and bed were comfortable. The indoor Spa was beautiful (we did not use the outdoor pool, but it looked nice too). The breakfast was very enjoyable with lots of choices, a superbe view, and amazing live piano performances every morning from a very talented pianist (Fernando, if we are correct) . We could not have asked for more! Very convenient location for everything (old town, island boat tours, ferry, excursions, train and bus stations). Perfect!"

"The most satisfactory hotel in my European trip so far, although it is the cheapest hotel. Several advantages: 1) In the center of Faro Old Town (of course the old town is very small). "Great location! Cozy «family» dinners for cheap every night at Hostellicious with delicious homemade dishes, wine, sangria at the family barbecue at Casa D’Alagoa (see pictures) Everybody was very respectful in my 6 person female only room, and quiet at night. Made friends with many of them every day during my stay!  Lots of places to hang with people both inside and on the patio, beautiful interior  Lots of activities with great prices just for people staying at the hostel, like boat tours, hiking, bike rentals, pub crawls every night with hostellicious Bring a padlock with a thick neck, a thinwire padlock doesn’t work for keeping your drawer locked.  Sun umbrellas can be rented for like €3!! Took it to the praia de Faro. Just a ten min walk to the port from the hostel, €4 with the ferry, amazing long strip of beaches  Faro has my ♡"

"The hotel was very clean, staff very welcoming and allowed us to check in way before time. It’s close to the airport as well as a big shopping centre so everything is in close proximity. The staff cleaned my room every day I was there and we had light and food when the whole Portugal had power outage. Will definitely recommend"

"Social events were brilliant! Staff very friendly and the hostel had a very social atmosphere. I liked that the rooms had privacy curtains. Everything was clean. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. It was a bit noisy at night but from people outside - not the fault of the hostel. It was also a bit hot in the room but reception offered to help with any AC issues."

"O hotel é limpo e bem localizado mas não oferecem nada, nem água. Chegamos tarde para fazer o check in e tivemos que sair a procura de um mercado pois não tinha nem água no quarto. Ficamos 4 noites e só tivemos o quarto limpo uma vez a pesar de sempre deixarmos o sinal na porta “por favor limpar o quarto”."
