"Stayed at Park Royal A'Famosa Melaka, and although it's marketed as a 5-star hotel, the overall experience felt more like 3.5 stars. The facilities are noticeably outdated, and the room cleanliness was not up to standard — it lacked the level of care and attention you’d expect from a high-end hotel.
We booked a room for four people, but it was quite cramped. Once the beds were in place, there was barely any room to move around, which made it a bit inconvenient for a family stay.
The breakfast leaned heavily towards local Malay cuisine and was just average. Don’t expect a wide or international selection. That said, the hotel pool was the highlight of our stay. It’s well-designed for families with children, and our kids had a great time — definitely a plus point.
There’s an outlet mall nearby, but there aren’t many food options or interesting places to eat.
Overall, it’s a decent choice if you're just looking for a place to relax and let the kids enjoy the pool. But if you're expecting true 5-star quality and service, you may end up disappointed."
