Kinta Hotels with Wifi

5-star hotel, but unfortunately the service was far from 5-star. We arrived for check-in at around 3:30 PM, only to be told that our room was not ready and that we had to wait another 30 minutes. For a 5-star hotel, I would expect the room to be ready by the stated check-in time. The staff also did not properly explain or guide us regarding the location of the available facilities. More importantly, some staff members did not handle guests in a professional or attentive manner. Overall, the service and guest experience did not meet the standards I would expect from a 5-star hotel. There is definitely room for improvement, especially in staff professionalism, communication, and guest service.

Great swimming pool Multiple pools, slides, splash zones, and mini waterpark features keep children busy for hours, and several reviews call the pool area the main highlight for families. Kids Club facilities stand out with toys, PS4, a mini cinema, playrooms, board games, and outdoor play areas, giving children plenty to do beyond the pool. ”Good facilities nice view and child friendly.” Clean private access adds to the stay, with several reviews highlighting city walks, nearby rooms, and easy access from the resort. ”Love the private beach and the pool.” Great view， balconies facing the water. ”Amazing location and breathtaking view!” ”Good facilities nice view and child friendly.”

For the price, I think it is a reasonable option.  However objectively: 1. The air-cons don't work well - one of them was leaking.  The staff was helpful in sending contractor to fix while we were out but due to miscommunication (because we have connecting rooms) the ”fix” was made to the air-con that wasn't leaking as badly as the one we complained about.  To be fair they offered to swap rooms but we are a family of 5 and it was a hassle to repack and move so we declined.  2. The hot water was very good despite some reviews.  However the shower head in one of the rooms were such that they don't stay put so occasional splashes happened.  3. One of the rooms wasn't cleaned (we have connecting room) - the ”make my room” card wasn't available in one of the room so we hung on just 1 of the room and left the connecting door open, thinking that the cleaners would clean both.  They only cleaned 1.  I guess we could have outright told reception instead of assuming that the cleaners will clean both rooms since we left the connecting door open.  4. I paid for extra bed - but the bedsheet was dusty - they changed it (or at least vacuumed it) after the first night.  5. The beds were quite comfortable, they offered free bottled water and coffee sachets, tv worked, fridges worked, rooms were decent sized, wifi was ok - ample street parking, the lights were ok but one of the rooms had stark white lights instead of the warmer ones. Location was good, just off the highway and across the eateries in Bercham.  6. The staff were helpful and friendly.  Despite the complaints they texted me and constantly called to check if we needed towels (because one of the room weren't cleaned) and they asked twice if we wanted to change rooms (we didn't because of reason stated above).  7. Suggestion - build a small ramp to go up to the hotel from the road if possible.  It will be helpful for luggage and older folks / wheelchairs etc.  All in all, it was a decent stay.  Price was competitive but cleanliness could be better - and air-con/shower heads can be better maintained. 

I really love the room. The bed was very comfortable with the nice pillows. Duvet cover is lovely with the hotel detailing on them. Well done management. The bathroom is big with separate wet bathroom. Toilet came with bidet and automatic wash machine control system. Breakfast buffet was really good spread and kudos to the f&b team with their amazing hospitality and services. Special shoutout to the staff Hattame for his great hospitality and service. Good ambiance too. Rooftop pool was small but it’s clean and overlooking the airport. There’s a lifeguard and staff around. On the other hand i was very disappointed with the cleanliness at the coffee counter in the room. Total disaster for such a brand new hotel. The dust are so thick on the fridge and all over the coffee cabinet. So disappointing and disgusting. Housekeeping manager or management should check on their staff works. Kettle was not clean properly and there is a left over water in the kettle, obviously not clean from the previous guests. Totally unacceptable for so call 5* hotel. Front desk staff was not friendly and gave me a fake smile and I was not feeling welcome at all. One of the female staff wearing worn out shoes and making so much noise while she moving around the reception which i find so annoying and what a poor grooming and service standard for a hotel. She not even smile at me while I was there at the counter for the check in. Overall I was happy with the comfort of the room and parking area was very convenient for me. Hopefully the management take note of my feedback and hope for the improvement of my next visit otherwise will be my last visit. Thank you.

The location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils. However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV. The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues. The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, it’s worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking.

Had a lovely stay! The location is great, with two restaurants just downstairs, making it convenient to grab a meal. Other places and attractions are also just a short drive away, so getting around was easy. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip!

After a day of sightseeing, shopping and enjoying local food, returning to a comfortable room makes the experience even more enjoyable and memorable.

Perhaps it's been a while, as some of the in-room facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is still very good.

Location is good - walking distance to popular food places. However, there is a confusion for grab pick up point. The grab will wait at the main road instead of the apartment lobby. The place is clean but rather old. Needs some maintenance. only bath towels given - no floor or hand towels. Digital TV - so can watch youtube and Netflix.

There's an ironing area on every floor, and a Coway water dispenser near the room.
