"The issue with this hotel room is that when you adjust the temperature, the air conditioner/heater makes consistent and weird noises. I stayed in a corner room on the 6th floor, and the shower was clogged. Not to mention, skip the breakfast—it’s not worth the money, as there’s barely anything to eat. The staff were attentive, but overall, this hotel is not recommended."

"The best hotel we have ever been to, the price and the room facilities was unmatched, i felt like it was supposed to be more expensive but turned out not. The building is new and i really love the room, the bathroom is huge and is very clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to visit Mokpo. And i would love to book again if i ever wanting to travel to Mokpo again. "

"Hotel itself was clean and quiet. In addition, the view was great for both sides. We stayed in ondol room with mountain view, but mountains were far and we could enjoy the view of surrounding area. We used taxi for transportation to restraurants, cable car, and museum. Since the hotel is in Youngam area while most tourist destinations are in Mokpo area, you need to plan wisely. Nonetheless, it was very satisfactory as a whole."

"Centered around the Shangria Beach Tourist Hotel in Mokpo, it takes about 10 minutes by taxi from Mokpo Station to the hotel, which is extremely convenient. If you book a sea‑view room at this hotel, you can directly watch the Mokpo Dancing Sea Fountain Laser Show at 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. every night (show times vary by day of the week). These two shows are different: one is more suitable for young people with hip‑hop music, while the other features traditional songs for older guests. From your room, you can see the laser show venue near the waterfront promenade of Peace Square directly. Do not miss the chance to ride the Mokpo Marine Cable Car, the second‑longest marine cable car in the world and the longest one in South Korea. There are many popular scenic spots nearby including Yudalsan Mountain, Gohado Island, Mokpo Skywalk and the National Maritime Museum, which are all worth visiting. Walking back and to the right when facing the laser show area, there is a large area with numerous dining options, especially bars serving beer that stay open late. Daege Mart, the major department‑style shopping mall closest to the hotel district, can also be found nearby."

"It was clean and there was bread & strawberry jam in the morning, and there was a water purifier on each floor, so it was comfortable. The first floor water purifier was good to have ice and mix coffee at any time."

"It wasn't just the interior that was renovated; the exterior walls were also spotless, so I spotted Eeum Hotel right away when I arrived nearby! The inside was also very clean, and I was satisfied with all the facilities, to the point where I'd even book it for my parents if they visited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Mokpo!"

"Hotel is small but very cozy. Good environment and very convenient. The reception upgraded our room for free, very friendly staff, know simple english. There’s air purification system， clothes sterilizer, a very big TV ( can watch netflix) in the room. Bathroom also very big，room are small but fully equipped, very clean also. Free laundry and cafeteria Very recommended!!"

"Although my room was small, it had everything I needed and was quiet and clean. I was particularly happy with the shower - plenty of hot water and great water pressure. Moreover, the front desk and housekeeping were all very professional and helpful. I chose the hotel because of its proximity to some of the places I wanted to visit and because it was close to the waterfront. I quite enjoyed my walks there mornings and evenings. It also turned out to be right across from Lotte Mart Maxx and within a 5-minute walk from both Daiso and Paris Baguette. Breakfast was included in the extremely affordable price. It was not gourmet but perfectly adequately and filling. If I ever return to Mokpo, I will certainly consider staying at Hound Hotel."

"This hotel exceeded my expectations. The parking lot was spacious, and the rooms were large and clean. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, perfect for a family with a child. The proximity to restaurants was also ideal. I'd definitely plan to visit again if I'm in the area."
