"The room was small, but it accommodated our two single beds. It was very close to Skogal Falls, within walking distance. I must commend its shower room; it had a very large hot water supply."

"We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!"

"Very pleasant stay and top notch service. The room was comfortable, clean and tidy. The staff were very quick to assist and very flexible with our requests. Really amazing! The location is right at skogafoss which is really convenient, though the view of the room facing the fall cannot really see the waterfall."

"One in advance, the image currently used by Trip.com shows another hotel. The Hotel Skoga has a dark rooftop and is now quite awaiting. This is, together with the price, also the biggest criticism point. To offer an old house with small rooms for this price is simply unshameful, even for Icelandic conditions. In addition to the state of the building, the small rooms and the price there was nothing to expose, cleanliness and breakfast were okay. For €50 less per night it might even be worth a recommendation, but not under these circumstances."

"It’s a nice boutique hotel and with welcoming staffs. The food is good esp the curry, excellent. The room size is perfect but the toilet is a bit too small. But well, it’s obvious nth we can do with that."

"If there are a lot of luggage, it is not recommended to choose a tent because a little distance must be carried. The public kitchen is fully equipped and clean, and the shower room is a little crowded."

"The newest hotel on our Iceland adventure, it opened in July 2025. You walk in and can smell how new it is... very modern facilities, spacious rooms, a comfortable bed, Smart TV, and a very complete breakfast. I highly recommend it!"

"Stay in a triple room with a double bed and a single bed. Three large luggages and a small luggage are all problems. Shared hall and open kitchen. The place is quite large. There are three toilets. I have not tried it. I have to wait. It is suitable for a family. The car can be parked in front of the house. There is a restaurant opposite to the restaurant. Eat no problem, come back next time."

"The hotel is a resort with a golf course. It is close to Seljalandsfoss Waterfall and is located in a remote area, so it is only suitable for self-driving. The service is basically self-service. You check in with the password sent to your email and leave directly after checking out. The host is at ease and the guests feel at ease. The environment in the early morning was extremely good, and I saw the aurora that I had been longing for at night. The room facilities are basically complete, the hygiene is good, and it is simple yet concise. Due to the location, you can only eat in the hotel. The dinner price is a bit expensive, but the breakfast is quite rich."

"Very close to the Seri Yalan Waterfall, about ten minutes drive. We stayed here on the return trip. The room was a bit cold at night. The flour outside at sunrise in the morning was very good. Breakfast was basic."
