"If you can get over the odd lay out and outside aesthetic, the OX Manchester is great. The staff are nice and approachable, the room is nice and the bathrooms are clean and new.
Breakfast is great and the dining area is set up well.
OX Manchester is also close to Metro link which makes it ideal if you don’t want to drive further into the city."

PPiaobodepingWe arrived at night. The driver followed the navigation and went around twice but couldn't find the entrance to the building. Later, he asked people and found out that the entrance to the building could not be parked either. He could only park about 100 meters away from the building. He pushed 4 large suitcases and 3 small suitcases across the cobblestone road to the entrance of the building, and had to carry the heavy suitcases up several steps. There was no waiter to help with the luggage. There was only one waiter at the front desk to check in. The room was large and the kitchen was clean, but there was no bottled water, not even a hair dryer and a mouthwash cup, no toothpaste or toothbrush, but disposable slippers. Breakfast is in another building and needs to be booked in advance, otherwise you will have to wait for a long time. Breakfast is not a buffet, but you have to sit down and order. The waiter was indifferent, probably because he was too busy. Downstairs was very lively at night, with several restaurants and people coming and going. If you only stay for one night, it is not recommended, it is too much trouble. Young people or family travel should like it here. (Picture shows the steps and breakfast at the entrance)

There are McDonald's and tesco around to solve three meals a day, and the surrounding environment is quite good; slightly smaller than domestic hotel rooms; no air conditioning but equipped with a small fan; There is a desk but the area is small and there are fans and coffee tea bags and cups piled up, so there is basically no office space. If it is a domestic hotel, it can give 3 stars or even less, but compared with other British and Japanese hotels I have been to, it can get close to 4 stars.

JJahangir JaneWe stayed here for a very short time while visiting to watch the Manchester vs Lyon match. Checked in at around 2:20 PM and headed out by 3:30 PM for the game. We returned at 11:55 PM and checked out the next morning at 11:00 AM.
Even though our stay was brief, the hotel left a great impression. The room was very clean, comfortable, and everything was well-organized. The next morning, we really enjoyed the breakfast – a lovely English breakfast with bakery items, butter, jam, fresh fruits, and juice.
If late checkout (even by an hour) had been allowed, it would’ve made the stay even more fantastic. Still, overall a great experience – highly recommended for a quick and pleasant stay!

The hotel was clean and tidy albeit basic. The bed was comfortable but the pillows needed replacing.
The hotel breakfast was fine and good value.

GGuest UserRoom was good but a bit tired. Basically a studio apartment, comfy bed and a very well equipped kitchen. Nice bathroom. I told the hotel I was working nights and needed to sleep during the day, so they put me in a quiet room at the top at the back which was very nice.

BBrigitteWe had problems with check-in at the arrival because I didn't receive any email from the provider or from the hotel. Because this email was important to get access to the hotel (number code - a small box, opening the box through the pin number code, like in a bicycle closure). Thank God was a new guest on site who had informed me of the password from the hotel so I could check my email. Unfortunately I didn't receive access data from the hotel. However, the hotel had a banner on which the contact details were read with the hotel's telephone number. I called there and made my problem. She asked me about my name and name and gave me the access data orally (English). Has all worked perfectly. Hotel is about 25-30 minutes walk (from Victoria Station and shopping center) With car only 5 minutes
