"It's not bad, the room is big, but the elevator is small and old, the bathroom is separated into wet and dry areas, it's my first time staying in this kind of hotel, a monastery with hundreds of years of history, the breakfast is okay, French hotels are basically like this, unlike domestic hotels with a variety of options. In addition, when booking the room, it didn't say it was a top floor attic. After checking in, we found it was a attic with a small window and a skylight. The room was a bit stuffy when the sun came out. There was no air conditioning, only a fan. When we asked to change rooms, the front desk said they were full. Fortunately, it rained later and it was cloudy the next day. Fortunately, the weather was not hot, with a maximum temperature of 24 degrees."

"I had a comfortable stay. The bed rustled a little, but I slept well enough. The air conditioning worked well. They said you have to throw your trash out when you leave, but that wasn't a problem. The bathroom was spacious, and since Avignon is a small city and it was a festival season, I was able to wander around and see the sights, so the distance didn't feel that far."

The breakfast was very rich, especially the variety of juices, and the quality of the breakfast was very high. I was very surprised by the hotel."

"This hotel is very nice, with a separate yard, very quiet. Not far from the central station and the Palais des Papes, but also with a kitchen, you can eat it yourself. If you check in later than 7pm, the hotel will send you an email in the afternoon to inform you of the check-in method. It is very detailed. If the check-out time is earlier than the hotel front desk, please put the room card in the room and close the door. . The only bad thing is that there are no slippers. Take it with you. The hotel has its own car park, but it is estimated that it must be booked in advance, not much location."

"Easy to find, free parking, easy check in process, and a very quiet location.
Room was an apartment with lots of room. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom/shower ok. Breakfast was excellent, with a good choice of continental items. Front desk staff were excellent, friendly and helpful.
Only problem for us was that the nearest restaurant for dinner was 1 hour walk away (I wanted to enjoy some wine and not drive). Still, the walk back gave the wine plenty of time to be absorbed !"

"The facilities are a bit old, but the hygiene is acceptable. The hotel is located on the edge of Avignon's Old Town; you can walk across one street and be right in the heart of it. There are many restaurants concentrated within the Old Town. To the west of the hotel, there's an underground parking garage. From the hotel's entrance in the parking lot (-1 level), you can use your room key card and ring the bell to access the hotel lobby. The first time, if you're not familiar with the way, you can go up to ground level via a small side door to enter the hotel. Several attractions around Avignon are within a reasonable distance, making it quite suitable for self-driving tours."

"We were already the third time there perfect for our interim stop. The only thing I noticed at breakfast buffet is no longer as it was. Bsp the bread there were always 3 varieties, today only normal white bread. And my husband had fruits that were no longer quite fresh.
So today breakfast was not worth his money.
Otherwise we are satisfied"

Seuls problèmes : nous avons dû nous enregistrer à 14 h avec la borne. Elle ne reconnaissait pas notre numéro de réservation. Nous avons dû appeler un numéro dédié. Ensuite la borne nous demandait de payer la chambre alors qu'elle était déjà réglée via Trip. Nous avons dû solliciter plusieurs fois une aide téléphonique.
Petite suggestion : mettre la borne dans un espace quo protège des intempéries.
A part ces difficultés notre séjpur s'est bien passé."

GGuest UserThe owner and host Pascal is very warm, eager to please, excitable and very outgoing. There is a happy hour for guests and Pascal everyday and it is nice to make friends with other guests. A very nice breakfast is good included daily. A short 5-8 minute drive to the lovely but crowded town of L'Isle sur la Sorgue. Pascal helped us book last minute dinner reservations in L'isle sur la Sorgue, which isn't easy to do last minute in September. We especially enjoyed Le Jardin du Quai. Only a four course with no choices at 52 Euros pp. We enjoyed it so much we ate there our last two nights.
The ”resort” is in an old Carmelite building that has had refurbishment. It is more rustic Provencal than contemporary. There is an outside covered fairly extensive exercise room, a nice pool, and a very peaceful feel outside on the property. The bees at breakfast were bothersome but nobody got stung and they seemed benign.
The clientele was international, but more than 1/2 French. Pascal speaks and understands English well.
Les Carmes is quite different than most other places in the region. It reminds me a bit of the Golden ages of travel in the 1950s. It is the opposite of sterile and has a real heart and center.

ZZhengxinxinThis is a shocking villa hotel very close to the stone city. The villa has two oversized cedars. The couple runs it. The people are very good. The hotel is beautiful and clean. The room is also 360-degree view. Even the toilet has a view. I am the least fond of writing reviews because I am not a blogger. Xiaohongshu also writes a lot. Very good to provide reference. This is my favorite one since my trip. The unique geographical environment and design style are simply magical. So unreal, but it really exists. I have lived in a very luxurious brand hotel. All kinds of boutique design hotels. Nothing that touched me so much.

GGuest UserA**Weng's rare extreme hot day, under the big sun, snorting a soak of urine, dead and alive can not open the door, around the building and yard, did not see how to enter. The store phone on Trip.com is French voice, just understand a sentence, please dial 5 for English messages. I called several times and no one answered. Fortunately, a car came out and followed it in. There was no one at the front desk. A guy in the public office received me and was very enthusiastic. I said that the phone could not get through, and I called in person. He said that it was fine to dial 1-4, no 5, and it collapsed. After completing the formalities, the guy enthusiastically helped me introduce the apartment environment, saying that it was not a hotel, there was no hotel service, and the first floor was pure water. I have to take me to the room to see... The anxious person remembered the same anxious person in the car outside, declined, hurriedly parked the car, returned to the room, solved the round, did not see the bed, was shocked, thought to sleep on the sofa. As a result, the cabinet door was opened, and there was a big bed inside. This design was really crashing. The first night was very quiet, the second night was attacked by mosquitoes, and I woke up in the middle of the night to fight mosquitoes, only to find mosquito bodies on the wall. Stayed for two nights and no cleaning service. There is no living supermarket within walking distance. Fortunately, we purchased food from the last hotel and brought it with ice bags. The induction cooker is not enough, half fried and half stewed, and it can be considered to be able to eat. There is no serious kitchen knife and silicone shovel. The two men ran to the first floor for a meal, and finally gathered together the kitchen utensils and played pure water. The tap water can't be drunk when it boils, it's all water alkali

DdhackersWe stayed at this hotel for a day visit to Avignon followed by an early morning TGV train to Paris. It’s excellently located for this. The reception staff were friendly & welcoming and spoke immaculate English. After our day in Avignon we chilled out by the pool with a cocktail then had a delicious meal in the hotel.

The breakfast restaurant also had a very handsome staff member! Everyone was just so good-looking! The only downside was the parking, which was €13 per day. It was perfect for resting our feet after a day of exploring the Old Town!

Facilities: The elevator is broken, uncomfortable, and everything else is fine. The only shortcoming is that the elevator is broken. I walked two floors with a 29-inch oversized luggage before I arrived in my room. If you need an elevator, it is not recommended here. Everything else is perfect!
