"We had a great stay at Giza Capital Hotel. The rooms were clean, the price was very reasonable, and the location is good for visiting the pyramids. The staff were generally very helpful and attentive. We did encounter a mistake with our airport pick-up service upon arrival, which was quite frustrating. However, the Hotel Manager handled the situation with great responsibility. They offered a sincere apology and provided compensation. Mistakes can happen, but how a hotel handles them is what truly defines their service. This hotel proved that they care about their guests and are willing to take responsibility. We really appreciated the professional service recovery. Highly recommended for their accountability and great hospitality!"

"For our last stop in Egypt, we planned to visit the Pyramid area, so we chose Doudou, a hotel highly recommended by Chinese travelers. The hotel's location is convenient, not far from both the South Gate and the New Gate of the pyramids, and even closer to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Taxis are readily available. However, getting to Old or New Cairo would be quite a distance, so consider your itinerary when choosing. The hotel is located on a main road, with the reception and rooms on the 5th floor, easily found with clear signage. In the evenings, there might be some noise from car horns and motorcycles, so bringing earplugs could be a good idea. The room was clean and tidy, much better than I expected. The bathroom had a wet/dry separation, so no worries about water splashing everywhere. The bedding wasn't pilling (a rare find among the hotels I stayed at in Egypt!), and the fridge worked exceptionally well! The view from the window was absolutely perfect, with the two 4,500-year-old pyramids seemingly within reach. I felt the view was even better than from the Mena House across the way! This room type also comes with a balcony, offering an unobstructed panorama. There are many souvenir shops nearby, and plenty of tour groups frequent the area. However, dining options are a bit limited, with a few cafes available. Downstairs, there's a small shop and a gas station (with a convenience store), making it quite suitable for those traveling by car. Pictures 1 and 2 show the view from the room's balcony, and picture 3 is the view from the hotel restaurant."

"I can highly recommend this hotel. We stayed here as a couple; the room was clean, fresh, and pleasant. I'd even say professional. We booked a deluxe room with a bathtub and a glass wall—it was worth it. The bathroom was excellent, perfect for two. The renovations were done well, even a bit sterile, without the typical Egyptian lack of attention to detail. We stayed in this room in December (when we were freezing in other hotels), and overall it was very comfortable. Street noise was minimal, especially compared to Cairo. The internet was average, not the best speed. We watched a movie on TV—the lighting, sound, and picture were very comfortable. The hotel's location is good: a 10-minute taxi ride to the museum and 15-20 to the entrance to the pyramids. Breakfast was okay. Grocery and fruit options are a 5-minute walk away. One downside: the staff in the cafe wasn't very professional (apparently the owner's children are there), but that's a minor detail. Also, if you order food from the cafe's menu, allow for a 40-50-minute wait. But to sum it up, the hotel fulfilled all its main tasks (sleep, relaxation, warmth) perfectly."

"The rooms are very clean, and the staff is incredibly helpful and available. The breakfast could be improved, and there aren't enough sun loungers by the pool. Nevertheless, I still recommend the hotel for its amazing staff and the cleanliness of the rooms."

"We stayed at this hotel for three days to see the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and Cairo. The hotel is perfectly suited for these purposes. The hotel's location isn't a tourist area, but there's no crime in the neighborhood (ignoring the pushy touts for the bazaars). The streets are typically dusty, as is common in Eastern cities. The hotel is on the top floor of a residential building, which conveniently has a chain grocery store and a spice/oil shop. There's a beautiful view of the pyramids from the roof. We were given a parking spot for our car (75 pounds per night), although it was a parking spot only in the loosest sense. The furniture in the hotel is dated, but overall the rooms are decent for a night's sleep and breakfast. Breakfast included snacks, an omelet, and instant coffee. If you're a solo traveler and aren't expecting luxury for a modest price, this is a pretty good option for a 2-3 night stay to see the sights of Giza and Cairo before moving on."

"I had a great stay at Turquoise Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum View Hotel. The location is excellent, very close to the pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum. The staff were extremely friendly and always willing to help. The room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for solo travelers!"

"The lady at the front desk of the hotel is very cute. The uncle who took our luggage to the room was very responsible. He also introduced us to places where we could have fun and where to buy souvenirs cheaply. He also said that there was a place not to go because the things were very expensive. I thought I had to tip him at first, but he walked away without looking back. He was absolutely serious and friendly. The road is being repaired at the door, so just walk a short distance inside. Be wary of illegal taxis around the hotel. Try to get a taxi in the room before going downstairs, otherwise the illegal taxi driver will keep harassing you. There is a computer on the first floor of the hotel for tourists to use. We used this computer to successfully book tickets on the train ticket booking website, and the Internet speed was also good."
