A much needed weekend staycation in Hainan.
Hotel is in a gorgeous location - set in the tropical rainforest. Very large grounds.
Helpful and accommodating staff.
Bath tubs and heated blankets for the cooler months.
We had a fantastic guide who took us on a walk just outside of the hotel and into the rainforest. You can do a shorter loop or you can continue up and up and up lots of stairs- it is a good workout. The path is not 100percent complete / or not open right at the top so we went to a little door and back down again. I very much enjoyed this walk. Our helpful guide provided with walking sticks and helped with photo opportunities. After the the walk he showed us a a temple and gallery located in the hotel’s grounds. The gallery kindly provided us with our very own tea ceremony and the views from the small room of the mountain was lovely.

Above is the guest room area with a unique small garden. The rooms are clean, tidy and well-maintained. You can overlook Wuzhishan Mountain from the window. The scenery is very good and meets the standards of a B&B! There is also a very unique tea room next to the garden, which is definitely a favorite for tea lovers.
Breakfast is very ordinary, traditional Chinese pasta, porridge, side dishes, etc., nothing wrong.
There are many restaurants in the town, with farmhouse tastes and hygienic standards at roadside shops. What’s interesting is that the pace of life here is very different from that in the city. The area itself is boring though. But thats actually all of wuzhishan. Not much to do here. Close to the hotel are two restaurants so food is easy to get.
Could not get a didi from the hotel location so felt kind of stranded and had to book private cars to get around.

Due to the city construction, the hotel is under construction on the south Shenghe River. The sound of the excavator was until 6 o'clock in the evening. The construction was broken to the municipal pipeline. The front desk said that there was no water in the city for a day. The hotel had hot water and it was too hot. It was impossible to wash it in a hot bath! At 11 o'clock in the evening, the water came, and the bathroom was blocked again. Thanks to the waiter, I helped to clear it. The next morning, I looked at the time specially, and the excavator started again at 7:30. The hotel stayed and quickly cleaned up.
