"We were tourists from Jiuquan, on a self-driving trip. The owner was incredibly kind, and the hotel's location inside Mati Temple was excellent, with convenient parking. The young lady at the restaurant was also very nice; the dishes she recommended were delicious, served in large portions, and offered great value for money. It's especially suitable for older people and children! At night, you can even go to the mountaintop to stargaze. The owner is generous and such a good person; they patiently helped each of us adjust our phone settings, and the photos turned out amazing. We got to see all the grottoes early in the morning before it got crowded, which was very convenient! We Gansu people are warm and hospitable, so everyone is welcome to visit Gansu. You'll see unique scenery at Mati Temple, and both the front and back of the mountain are fun to explore. What a delightful weekend!"

"Everyone should come and stay here!
The owners are an angel. We arrived on Chinese New Year's Eve, and they cooked us New Year's Eve dinner. The next day, they provided an incredibly delicious breakfast, and they even gave us a discount on entrance fees to Mount Bals with our accommodation certificate.
When we went out to stargaze that night, the owners were waiting for us. The next day, they told us the best spot for sunrise.
What an amazing family!"

"The room was quite spacious, and its location right at the entrance of the visitor center made getting around and parking very convenient. It was just a short walk to Mati Temple and a commercial street. What I have to complain about, though, is the breakfast – it was really perfunctory 😂😂😂 and absolutely terrible."

"Considering how remote this town is, the accommodation here is quite decent. I woke up freezing in the middle of the night and realized there was no air conditioning. A quick search on Trip.com showed that almost no hotels in this area have AC. The water pressure was a bit unstable, making showers not very comfortable. There wasn't much in terms of service either; someone was at the front desk, but no breakfast was offered in the morning, and there were no breakfast spots nearby."

"Because the Horseshoe Temple scenic spot is very popular today, you can avoid long queues at the entrance of Beisi Grottoes early in the morning when you enter the scenic spot, so you booked this homestay early. It was very unfortunate when I arrived. I caught up with a heavy rain. I was good to drive the car into the courtyard, but when I got off the bus and checked in, I was still very embarrassed. When I opened the door and entered the house, I brought the rain into the house. Fortunately, the rain stopped soon. The room is small and slightly crowded. It seems to be different from the 25 square meters claimed, but the facilities are still complete. It is convenient to eat and shop around. At this price, staying at a homestay very close to the scenic spot is in line with expectations."

"Parking is not very convenient in the county center. We parked on the road far away and entered the hotel in the rain. There is no mineral water and little toilet paper. The price is high and there is nothing special. The room looks good. The toilet looks old, but there is plenty of hot water."
