Looking at his WeChat Moments, I felt this was a cool and unique hostel, and the books he selected were also very distinctive. I'd been wanting to visit for a while, and on a whim, I came without prior notice. The first floor is a bookstore, the second floor is guest rooms, and the back is the hostel. Because I was traveling with family, we booked two rooms. The double rooms were very spacious and great value; my family loved them. Meeting the owner in person, he was very easygoing and friendly. In this small county town, he regularly eats at one or two delicious little shops and buys the most unpretentious chicken cakes. Wandering, freedom, music, unrestrained laughter—he finds harmony with the world in his own way. He said he was born in 1897, and the name of the shop is a number he likes, without any special meaning; he hopes the bookstore will grow freely and exist until the end of the universe. Such freedom and open-mindedness are truly enviable. His ”goodnight” to the guests warmed my heart. It's been a long time since I've traveled or written a review, and this has inadvertently turned into a jumbled mess. This time, time was too short to fully experience the excitement of '97. I'll need to keep an eye on my boss's WeChat Moments more often, and hopefully I'll have the chance to attend a music festival organized by Boca Juniors sometime.

Our primary goal was to visit Luoping's Jinji Fengcong (Golden Rooster Hills) and its vast rapeseed fields, so we meticulously chose and booked the highly-rated Xinyuan Dream Guesthouse on Ctrip, conveniently located within the scenic area. It was spotlessly clean, tidy, and comfortable, and our spacious view room offered direct views of Jinji Fengcong. After staying here, we realized that staying within the scenic area is absolutely the best choice, saving both time, effort, and money. The guesthouse is run by a young, university-educated couple. The proprietress is a sweet, friendly, and charming young lady; her radiant smile is as captivating as the blooming rapeseed flowers themselves. They offer freshly prepared dishes and rice for all three meals, which are excellent value for money and taste wonderfully fresh and light. The owner even personally drove us to the scenic area entrance in his electric cart, which was incredibly thoughtful. Right outside the guesthouse, there's a field of rapeseed flowers (Pic 2) where every casual snap turns into a stunning photo. Public transport is also conveniently accessible right outside the entrance. I've already recommended it to all my friends on social media who are planning a trip here!

The room facilities are new, similar to the quality of a fast hotel. Clean and odorless. The air conditioning and heating are sufficient and quiet. The shower head in the bathroom has enough water. The rice noodles and porridge for breakfast taste good. The homestay is close to the rapeseed flower scenic area, and you can also see the flower fields on one side from the window. Before booking, I was a little hesitant because I saw some reviews (reviews in early 2023) pointing out that there were some flaws in the homestay. I specifically called the homestay to ask if those problems had been solved. The person in charge who answered the phone told me with certainty that those problems were no longer there and I could book with confidence, and explained in detail the causes of the problems and the measures to solve them. It is a reliable store!

I arrived around 11:00 a.m. and they graciously let me check in. The shower room was comfortable with a separate shower stall, although the sink was a little small. The room and bedding were clean and comfortable. When I asked about chartering a car with a driver to go to Majie Village to see the rape blossoms, they did their best to research and make a suggestion. In the end, I didn't have a chauffeur because it might not be in full bloom yet, but they were really kind to us. Thank you, my stay in Luoping is a very good memory.

The guesthouse has a great location and the rooms are clean. The owner is very nice. The chicken is super delicious. The tofu is homemade by the owner. The soy milk and fried dough sticks are amazing, and the crispy pork knuckle is fantastic. It's very close to the rapeseed flower fields. I even picked some loquats from the owner's garden. The manor covers a large area in a mountain col. There is also a Yunshang Flower Village square nearby where some snacks are sold. The cafe has an antique design. The antique color can sit for a while. The restaurant in the manor tastes good and the breakfast is simple. Overall, it is slightly higher than the level of ordinary farmhouses, has high cost performance and is suitable for a short stay.
