When traveling, I am used to chain five-star hotels. I have never booked a homestay before, so I am inevitably nervous. At first, I did not have a clear destination when planning my trip to Guizhou. I was very moved when I saw this castle in the sky by accident, so I decided to go to Dong Village. I can only say that what you see is what you get. What I must evaluate is the service, which exceeded my expectations. As soon as Ctrip was booked, a housekeeper added WeChat and continued to track and inform me of the weather and the May Day activities in the village for half a month before the holiday. Because I arrived in Congyang early in the morning from the Guiyang high-speed rail, the housekeeper arranged a car to pick me up, and the driver was also very considerate. The locals were simple and honest. While waiting for the room in the lobby, juice and coffee were available, and all the staff were enthusiastic and meticulous. The homestay is the best location in the central area of Dong Village, quiet in the bustling city. The two of us booked the 520 castle in the sky that we saw at first sight. It occupies the best viewing position, overlooking the mountains, and feeling relaxed and happy. The room is clean, comfortable, and smart, which should be the top configuration in Dong Village. Yaoyu in the evening, rice noodles for breakfast, considerate greetings, I feel that the management team has a positive and upward career enthusiasm, which makes me and my teammates quite unforgettable. What I want to say is that now all kinds of homestays are springing up like mushrooms after rain. In addition to hardware, the software can also impress people's hearts. The experience of staying in this homestay is great! First of all, the location is excellent, close to the main street but still quiet, it is the perfect place to check in the surrounding attractions. The boss and the lady are warm and thoughtful, fully demonstrating their thoughtful service, actively sharing small tips with us, contacting us in advance to arrange vehicle pick-up, so we don’t have to think about transportation problems, which really saves a lot of trouble. The room decoration is the simple cream style I like, and the room facilities are fully equipped, making people feel convenient and comfortable. I also got three cute cats in the store, and they are very docile. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. I will definitely recommend this place to friends who come to play! ! I will choose this one next time I come to Zhaoxing! !

I saw the pictures of Xishe.Shantang on Xiaohongshu before and I decided to stay here. This time when I came to Zhaoxing, I chose this place. Facts have proved that the choice was correct. The environment, location, room layout, and hardware of the B&B are all excellent. I am picky. The boss and staff are very nice. They introduce the surrounding attractions and transportation. Even if you don't go out, it is very comfortable to drink tea in the B&B.

Zhaoxing Dong Village Miwu B&B: Beautiful floor-to-ceiling windows and cozy family rooms
Staying at Zhaoxing Dong Village Miwu B&B is simply a feast for the eyes and soul! The view from the floor-to-ceiling windows of the homestay is truly unique. Outside the windows is the picturesque scenery of the Dong village, with stacked stilt houses, quaint drum towers, winding streams, and green mountains and clear waters in the distance. Every frame is as beautiful as a painting. When I woke up in the morning, the sunlight poured into the room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. The morning mist in the Dong village was as ethereal as a veil, making me feel as if I were in a fairyland, which made me feel relaxed and happy.
The facilities in the room are also very thoughtful, with a large and a small bed design that perfectly meets the accommodation needs of the whole family. The big bed is soft and comfortable, and the children can sleep soundly in the small bed. The whole family enjoys a warm and comfortable time here. The owner of the B&B was warm and hospitable, providing us with a lot of thoughtful services. He also patiently explained to us the history and culture of the Dong village, allowing us to have a deeper understanding of this land.
Here, we not only enjoyed the charming scenery, but also felt the warmth of home. Miwu B&B is the most unforgettable place to stay during our trip and is highly recommended to all family tourists who want to experience the Dong village style!

A beautiful place overlooking the rice fields of Zhaoxing! Love the atmosphere and vibes of the place. The view from the room is so gorgeous and the room interior has lovely homely decor as well. The breakfast was simple and hearty. But above all, the owner and staff running the place were really kind and hospitable. The owner contacted me prior to my stay and showed me videos of the available rooms so I could choose which room I preferred. And knowing that I'm a lone girl travelling by myself and reaching the station at night, he kindly borrowed a car to drive me from the station to the hotel so that I wouldn't be left to my own devices in the dark and waived the transport fee for me too. I'm really so grateful for their hospitality!!

Although it was a blind selection at first, I was really attracted by the windows of this B&B!
The environment is very clean and comfortable, things are very tidy, and the facilities and equipment take the needs of the guests into consideration. I fully feel that I am a ”traveler” and I enjoy it very much. Since I was traveling alone, I originally booked a king-size bed room. The boss upgraded me to a king-size bed with stairs up and down as shown in the picture, provided that there was a room available. It was so comfortable! Needless to say, the scenery on the rooftop is a sight to behold!
The environment of this B&B is very good. Of course, I have to give a good evaluation of the service. The owner specially provides pick-up and drop-off (I personally think that the owner provides this service sincerely from the heart). He also kindly reminded me that since the B&B is made of wood, there might be noise due to soundproofing, but the owner said to contact us at any time. Everyone cooperated with each other and was very harmonious (of course, there was no sound at all when I went home that night, I slept well, and woke up beautifully in the morning, hahaha). After the boss helped me check in, he also patiently explained the general guide to eating, drinking and having fun here. He mainly told me where to go, fearing that I would get lost. I am a person with poor directions, and the boss's map was very nice and easy to read.

Come here to join in the fun during the Grain Rain Festival. It was a very satisfying stay! The location of this homestay is very good. It is not far from the entrance of the village. You don’t need to walk far. If you take the shuttle bus, you can tell the driver to take you to the intersection and walk 50 meters to get there.
The two front desk staff are super nice. Seeing that I am bringing my parents, they upgraded me to a larger room. There are rattan chairs on the balcony, which are very comfortable to sit on. The little brother helped me move the luggage and introduced the whole village tour guide. It rained when I left, and the little sister lent us an umbrella to take us to the bus stop.
I booked a mountain view room, which is very cost-effective. The view room will be more expensive. The little brother took us in for a tour. The balcony scenery is really great and can overlook the entire village. It is even more beautiful at night. I quickly took the camera to take pictures and record what is in front of me.
The room is cleaned very cleanly. The lobby on the first floor is for tea sets. It is also very pleasant to make tea, read books and watch the scenery here. Recommended!

首先房間收拾得很乾凈，所見即所得。我因為太累了，倒頭就睡，所以沒來得及先拍一張。
感謝攜程的精緻安排，贈送一次接站服務。司機小哥是個勤勞的侗族漢子，全程話不多，默默幫我們提行李，告訴你怎麼去取票，把車停好後怕你找不到他，又繞到行人入口處，在地上蹲着，然後來接我們。
老闆娘特別的熱情，提前一天打電話問高鐵行程，安排接站。到了前台也會熱情的打招呼。
住不捨的理由很簡單，可以免費看篝火晚會，加上祭薩大典也在這個場景舉辦 真是物超所值。民宿門口就是智團鼓樓，走下去就可以在那裡烤火，跟叔叔嬢嬢們話家常，聽侗歌。侗族是一個祭拜老祖母，尊重女性的民族。我聽到的侗族大歌都是女聲部為主，臨走的前晚，就在智團鼓樓，聽到了叔叔們唱的男聲部，別有一番風味。
有什麼需求直接跟老闆娘説，都會盡量滿足。這幾天在肇興是我今年以來最富足最滿足的時候，除了幫媽媽圓夢，所有的活動熱鬧非凡，都讓我覺得好滿足好快樂。
作為一個世俗化不會説侗話的侗族人，也許這幾天的所見所聞讓我體內的侗族基因開始覺醒，希望以後我會説侗話，唱侗歌。Gam ba la Whoo Whoo

Although the B&B is located at the end of the village, it is not far to walk. It also has the advantage of being at the end of the village, that is, it is very quiet at night and very close to the bus stop to Tang'an Terraces. The facilities, hygiene and breakfast of the B&B are very good. The scenery outside the window is beautiful. There is a large farmland outside the window. Great location in Zhaoxing overlooking the historical village in a very quiet area, perfect for who needs rest from the hustle of Chinas big cities. Beautiful, carefully designed and furnished room with wooden floors furniture, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
Lots of little extras, like a beautiful reception area with balcony, a generous fruit basket refilled every day, great and healthy breakfast, pick up service from the train station etc.
Young and very friendly hosts, english is hardly spoken but with a translation app communication is easy and the staff are keen on helping you with any questions.
As the house was not fully booked, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room.
Over all, an amazing experience!

The sanitation is very clean, and the bedding is very comfortable to use. The curtains and toilets are smart, and they are also equipped with projectors, which is very convenient for overall use~
The boss provides free pick-up and drop-off service, and will send us the guides and programs of Dongzhai, which is convenient for us to plan and arrange. After arriving, we will help us carry our luggage to the room, which is really meticulous.
ps: The boss's sour soup beef and fragrant pork are also super delicious, and the peppers are particularly fragrant! The portion is full, and 3 people have not finished eating! After eating, we also sent us to the scenic spot, the service leverage!

JJamesHarrisMy friend and I stayed here for one night and, whilst overall our stay was fine, I did feel some things were lacking. The room was large, with plenty of space, but the bathroom was tiny. The windows were entirely frosted which meant there was no view of the outside, which made the room feel rather claustrophobic. But BY FAR the biggest problem for me was the air conditioning. It was on constantly, at the lowest setting, but the room never cooled down throughout our stay. It wasn’t particularly hot at the end of August but with the lack of windows that opened, and high humidity, it made the room feel very stuffy and affected my sleep. The temperature of the room is an important factor for me and I wouldn’t stay here again without knowing beforehand that the AC was working as it should.

After I placed the order, the store contacted me and informed me of all the details of my visit. When they learned that I was bringing a child with me, they also thoughtfully provided me with the weather conditions during our stay and let me know what clothes to bring. After checking in, I was impressed by the details of the inn. Each room is carefully designed with a strong Dong style. You can admire the beautiful Dong architecture and feel the cultural charm of this ancient nation.
The environment around the inn is also very pleasant. Taking my son for a walk in the village, I felt the tranquility and harmony. In the evening, you can also enjoy Dong song and dance performances, which made our journey more colorful.

MMoffieLocated inside the Zhaoxing village. Facilities are good and room was cleaned daily. The toiletries are basic and I recommend you bring your own.
There were free 2 bottles of water everyday but there is also a water dispenser at the reception. The guy at the reception picked me up from the village gate so it was easy and I did not have to search for the location. He gave me an introduction to the map of the village and showed me where interesting areas are located. The hotel is a short walk to town hospital which is convenient for covid testing and also the bus stop to go to Miao village and railway station. My room has a balcony that faces the lake, very nice view. The reception guy was very helpful, answers all my questions and also helped me purchase local snacks to take back to Shanghai. Not sure if he sleeps because he was always available! Breakfast is Chinese noodles with some purple taro, mantou and egg. It's the same everyday. I had a very relaxed and comfortable stay! Highly recommended!

- I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault)
- the staff doesn't speak English
Pros:
- It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing.
- The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :)
- Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China.
- The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate.
- I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement.
