"It's a truly beautiful and comfortable place!!! While the location isn't the most convenient, being deep in the mountains and forests, it's definitely suitable for a self-driving tour. I took the high-speed train from Hong Kong to Shenzhen North Station, directly to Huaiji Station, and then called a Didi (ride-hailing service) which only cost around 80-100 HKD. So overall, it's still within an acceptable range! First of all, don't expect it to be a place with a lot of entertainment; it's really for relaxation. There are golf carts available for shuttle service within the area, and they arrive quickly after you call them. When I visited, there were still many areas under construction, including the hot springs♨️, but for me, 3 days and 2 nights was just right, and I could even have had one more day. The breakfast buffet and the restaurants for lunch and dinner were all quite good, but personally, I wouldn't recommend the lemongrass chicken and black goat on the second night. Half a chicken had a lot of bones and was overcooked. The goat meat had a lot of tough tendons; adding fermented bean curd made it taste better. The rooms have water, snacks, fruit, and instant noodles, which are replenished daily during room cleaning, which is great! Also, note that you can't order takeout here!
