This road trip along Highway 331 was a real headache due to having a pet in tow. We booked the ”Fengyang Hotel” in Lvjiang Village on Ctrip, thinking it was pet-friendly. Upon checking in, we were pleasantly surprised by the simple yet elegant decor, the clean and comfortable environment, and the warm and attentive service. Although it's a guesthouse in the mountains and the price wasn't high, it felt like staying in a star-rated hotel. The owners were incredibly welcoming. Seeing we had a pet, they not only upgraded our room for free but also recommended some lesser-known tourist spots. Despite the winding roads, we experienced a boat trip on the river, enjoying close-up views of the two rivers, witnessing the amazing skill of net fishing, and tasting the delicious fish at Li Qiang Fish Restaurant. Staying at ”Fengyang Hotel” made us feel right at home; it was definitely worth the trip.

Bathing, steaming, caves, restaurants, games, rest and other basic things are also available. The key is that there are fewer people on holidays, recommended!

The hotel is located near the ”painter village” of Qingshangou Qingshan Lake Scenic Area. It has its own small parking lot and its own lakeside garden. The surrounding environment is excellent and the river view can be seen from the window. The hotel is divided into ordinary 3-story rooms and superior water 3-story ”blowboat” rooms. Aboard the roof of the ”Boat” to view the scenery, the lake and the mountains, the panoramic view, the environment price is really nothing to say. We live in an ordinary 3-story river view bed room, the facilities are a bit old, especially the bathroom and toiletries, a bit too simple, and the room price during May 1st is referenced, the overall price is not high, I hope to improve. But the hotel's dining environment and dishes are still good. If you have the conditions, you may experience a better experience with the newly built ”Boat” room!

During the Chinese New Year, I took my baby to ski a snow. The hotel is in the scenic area. It is a single-family villa on the mountainside. Below is the reservoir. The overall view is very good. It must be more beautiful in summer. But the construction time is a bit long, the room facilities are slightly old, especially the exterior wall tiles are loose and fall off a lot, just below the parking space, worried that the car was accidentally smashed 🤣. The service is basically the level of the village. We took the standard room chosen by the two of the children. It is a set of four rooms in a villa. Give me two keys, one open the door and one open the room. At night, I took the baby to the town to eat. As a result, the waiter called and said that the people who lived with him could not get in. When did we go back? It turned out that the waiter forgot to give another tenant the key to the door. After that, I actually blamed us for locking the door when we went out. I was really a lost word. It was obviously a problem caused by your mistakes, and I didn't want to run errands to help the tenant open the door. On the contrary, I complained about others without reason. It was selfish and rogue, hey! From Shenyang, the overall road conditions are good, but when the snow is small, you must drive more carefully. There is a tail at the traffic lights at the intersection of the town. During the Chinese New Year, there is no meal in the visitor center, and you need to go to several nearby towns. The vertical height of the cable car in the scenic spot is not small, the old-fashioned open hanging orchid, a little worried about safety, and need to be charged separately (not included in the snow ticket). Because from Beijing to Shenyang, I brought the whole set of skis for the child, I brought shoes without snowboard, rented a double board in the snow field, a bit old, no edge, down the mountain is completely no spectrum.

The location is very good to find, if you just finished playing from the mouth, you can go directly here, and then go to the Hushan Great Wall the next day. They also have farm food to eat. This price is still very cost-effective.
