"Our stay at Baifuyue Hotel before heading home from our Hulunbuir trip truly exceeded our expectations – definitely a five-star review!
First off, the front desk upgraded our room during check-in. From the 19th floor, we had a fantastic view of the Lianghe Holy Mountain scenic area, with blue skies and white clouds – absolutely breathtaking. The bedding in the room was comfortable and soft, and the breakfast was excellent, especially the milk tea, which tasted amazing. The hotel's location is also very convenient for dining and buying local souvenirs. It’s also not far from the Hulunbuir History Museum, which I recommend visiting if you have time. It systematically showcases the historical evolution of Hulunbuir and houses many precious artifacts.
We had originally booked an airport transfer for 5 PM, but since the hotel's vehicle was busy picking up other guests and couldn't make it back on time, the lovely Ms. Zhao at the front desk thoughtfully helped us call a Didi (ride-sharing service).
I highly recommend this hotel to all friends traveling to the grasslands!"

"The breakfast is definitely a highlight; the wontons and congee were delicious, and there was a great variety overall, quite substantial.
Problem one: No non-smoking rooms. All rooms in the hotel allow smoking, and smokers are frequently seen in the lobby and restaurant on the first floor. I called a day in advance to request a non-smoking treatment, but they only opened the windows for ventilation. The smoke smell had already permeated the entire room, making the air stale and bitter, completely unalleviated. Those sensitive to smoke should definitely reconsider.
Problem two: Extremely poor value for money. During the same period, nearby guesthouses were only 80-170 yuan/night (both near the train station and the ancient city). This Huanzhi Hotel I booked was 800 yuan/night, an outrageous overcharge. The experience absolutely did not match the price.
Additional note: The grasslands are now at the tail end of peak season; most areas have been mowed, so the grass is short and yellow, and the scenic effect is mediocre.
Conclusion: Unless you absolutely don't mind the smell of smoke, I strongly do not recommend this hotel. There are far too many better options at this price point. I took photos before checking out for everyone's reference."

"The hotel's facilities are excellent, the cleanliness is superb, and the location is good.
However, the service was disappointing. I contacted them beforehand to discuss my needs, but it was all just talk; nothing was actually done. Upon check-in, the front desk smiled and assured me it was a non-smoking room, saying there were no ashtrays. However, upon entering, I found ashtrays prominently displayed, and people were smoking in the opposite and next-door rooms with their doors open. A follow-up call revealed that the hotel doesn't actually have non-smoking rooms. They could have simply been honest and left the choice to the guests. The soundproofing was terrible; the roar of airplanes flying overhead and conversations from next door were clearly audible. The breakfast restaurant was extremely small, shared by two buildings. It opened at 7 am, and even arriving around 7 am, there were no seats available if you didn't want to share a table. When the staff shook out their dishcloths while clearing away the dishes, they were criticized by guests at the next table. Honestly, I chose this hotel hoping for a comfortable stay and good service. If these weren't provided, I wouldn't choose to stay here. Objectively speaking, if I were to return to Haila, I wouldn't stay here."

"The location is fantastic, right on the edge of the old city, and our room had a view of the Old City Yamen (ancient government office). The downside to this, however, is that it can be a bit noisy at night, and parking is a hassle. The hotel's parking lot downstairs was full, so we had to go to a parking garage about 100 meters away. The hotel reimbursed us for it, but we still waited in line for half an hour during peak evening hours – it just shows how lively the area is! Taxis to the airport cost 18 yuan, and it's only 10 yuan to the train station and the history museum, so it's super convenient.
The hotel service was truly excellent; they were responsive to all our requests and very prompt.
Breakfast options were a bit limited."

"The staff at Zhouji Hotel are truly exceptional! When I checked in on March 30th, the receptionist (Weiwei) greeted me with her usual warm smile, which was very comforting. She even remembered the same room I stayed in last time, which surprised and delighted me. I thanked her profusely! Upon entering my room, I found a card next to the fruit platter that read, ”Welcome Ms. Guo... Your Zhouji concierge, Weiwei!” I was so touched! The service was incredibly attentive and thoughtful! I went downstairs to ask the receptionist, ”Are you Weiwei?” She smiled and said, ”Yes, it's me!” This young lady is beautiful and provides excellent service!! After I finished my meal and returned to the hotel, I wanted to write her a letter of commendation, but Weiwei had already finished her shift. So, I'll express my gratitude through Ctrip. Thank you, Weiwei! And thank you to the young man who took over Weiwei's shift; he was kind and quickly resolved my issue! Thank you, Zhouji Hotel! "The newly opened homestay is a villa remodeled. The facilities of the room and restaurant are very good. There is a good ESPRESSO coffee machine and the coffee beans are also very good. The taste of the room is good, the area is large, the surrounding environment is relatively quiet, and it is very good for people who like to get up early and walk. Bath lotion and shampoo are all very good quality, not the kind of big buckets. Breakfast is extremely rich, haha, it is indeed extremely rich."

I stayed here as part of my 20 day road trip across the forests of Northern Heilongjian and the white hills of Inner Mongolia.
After driving north from A'ershan to New Barag Youqi to see stand on the southern bank of Hulun Hu, I drove up to Manzhouli to stand on the lakes northern bank and watch the sunset. I had no idea what to expect from Manzhouli and so I booked 3 nights. I also enjoyed the Russian ethnic minority food, milk tea and bought some gifts in town.
I ended up deciding to move on up north to Erguna via the G331 a couple of days early. Though I cut the stay short, I thought the hotel was great. It's in the high rise building and is eay to find. The welcome at reception was nice and friendly. I was given everything I needed and shown a much larger room than I booked.
The rooms possibly the largest I have come across since living in China. The design is nice, warm, and bright. It came across as a studio alarment that was just missing a kitchen.
The Auntie gave me some magnets as I was leaving and I appreciate that a lot.
I highly recommend this place if you need a quiet, apartment like stay in the city.
If you enjoy Russian food, or from Europe and missing home, there are plenty of Russian restaurants serving real bread, meat, potatoes and Russian beer.

PauOHanlonI found this guesthouse as I was driving up the G331 from Erguna to Beijicun as part of my 2 0 day road trip loop from the northernmost part of China to A'ershan and back.
Mo'edaogazhen is a very small, quiet town and I was the only guest in this guesthouse.
I got a friendly welcome when I arrived by the Auntie and Uncle. I was welcomed to my room and got settled in.
As an Englishman, I had to go down to the police station and then to another hotel to have my location registered - a Chinese Government requirement. The boss jumped in the car and saw me get it sorted nice and smoothly with no hassle.
The room was nice and comfy and in the traditional wooden style which suited my trip well. A couple of improvements would be to make sure the room has a kettle on arrival and that the shower won't flood for other guests. But no harm done, I slept well and enjoyed plenty of Gongfu tea sessions.
As I left, the Auntie/Sister gave me two Russian pastries which I was very appreciative of. Things like this leave a lasting impression, especially for us foreign travellers. I ended up driving from Erguna to Beijicun via the G331 - the most isolated section in the nation - and these pastries saw me through the journey well.

It’s located right next to the border on a sketchy looking road so there’s a lot of truckers. It’s across from the scenic area which is convenient if you want to go there but I wouldn’t recommend going there because they have cruel animal performances such as lions and a bear. It was so awful to watch. They hit the lions who weren’t obedient. So sad. The hotel is too far from all the restaurants and the main downtown area so that was inconvenient. The owner was very kind though. He gave us these Russian candies that were delicious and impossible to buy. :( There is one washer on every floor but no dryer so you need to hang dry your clothes which is a bit inconvenient. There isn’t any breakfast option - it’s the same every day and it is delivered to your room which made me feel like quarantine again but at least the timing is flexible as you could sleep in and have it delivered whenever you want.

Guest UserThe hotel is in a really good location, it’s right next to the Ancient City and a lot of shopping areas. We were upgraded to a suite, which was very kind of the staff. The room was very clean, large, had no smell of smoke. There were washing machines and a dryer in the reception area. There were also vending machines with drinks, laundry detergent, and tissues available on each floor. The lighting in the halls was modern, as was it in the room. The bathroom was the only non-modern feeling area of the room, but that’s a very minor drawback for an otherwise lovely stay. Checkout was at noon, which was convenient for us, too.

The receptionist lady at the hotel was very friendly, kind, and welcoming. The hotel is located in a very convenient area in the city center, which was a great advantage.
However, the cleanliness of the bathroom was not satisfactory. The hotel did not provide enough bottled drinking water according to the number of guests staying in the room. I believe it is important to provide clean bottled water based on the number of guests and beds in the room. This does not cost much for the hotel, but for tired travelers who have been on a long journey, it is a small but valuable comfort.
There were also no porcelain cups available for drinking tea in the room.
In addition, some foreign guests were talking loudly, coming in and out of the hotel, and making a lot of noise until around 2 a.m. This made our stay uncomfortable and disturbed our rest.
We had traveled a long distance and were extremely tired, so we decided to overlook these issues and requested to extend our stay for one more night at the same hotel to get some rest. However, the hotel increased the room price, which was disappointing.
Furthermore, although the agreed check-out time was 2:00 p.m., we were asked to leave after 12:30 p.m. As a result, we could not finish our lunch and had to check out at around 1:30 p.m. We hope the hotel can pay more attention to respecting the agreed check-out time and providing better service for guests in the future.
