"I spent a lot of time browsing Ctrip before finally booking the Jinjiang Metropolo Hotel for my long-awaited trip to Gaoyou, and overall I was very satisfied.
Facilities: The room was spacious enough that even with luggage, it didn't feel cramped. The appliances were all new, and the curtains closed automatically!
Cleanliness: The room was very clean and odorless. The toiletries were all sealed, so you could use them with peace of mind!
Environment: The hotel's location is excellent; it's not far from various attractions, and taxis are readily available.
Service: I especially want to commend the hotel staff. They were incredibly polite and friendly, providing us with exceptional service. From arranging parking in the underground garage upon arrival, to helping us close our booking early and go home a day earlier, and offering a free late check-out until 2 PM, the hotel staff handled everything proactively and assisted us.
I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Gaoyou!"

"The room is quite big, the room service is very good, and the shower water is also very big. But the downside is that the room door is not soundproof (too thin) and the sound of people talking and walking in the corridor can be heard clearly. Especially when you encounter poor quality guests who are shouting loudly in the corridor in the middle of the night, it makes people unable to sleep. The hotel should put up signs in the corridor that say ”don't shout loudly or run in the corridor”, just like the no smoking signs, otherwise it will affect the rest of other guests."

It has been cooling for 4 hours at 9 o'clock in the evening. The temperature in the room has not dropped yet. I can't blow it with an electric phoenix fan. I can only call the room attendant. The waiter was very enthusiastic to help me see other rooms, and changed the original room 1206 to room 1210 from the front desk. He also helped me with my luggage. I finally had a good sleep. The room is a suite, but the air conditioning vent is only in one room!
The suite has a large 1.8-meter bed, but the sheets are too narrow and don't cover the mattress, leaving the mattress exposed, which doesn't feel very hygienic.
The toilet is smart, but the toilet paper is of poor quality!
The shower faucet is large, but the water pressure is low, and the water temperature isn't quite right; it's barely warm enough for a shower.
The shower floor has anti-slip strips, but it's cold. It would be better if an optional anti-slip mat was provided!
Breakfast is provided, but the selection is limited! If you're not picky, it's enough to fill you up.
I won't list everything, but with some improvements, it could definitely be improved.

The room was spacious, and amenities like the projector and AC were quite new. The inclusion of a clothes drying rack was a thoughtful touch. The shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Since it was a special offer room without a window, I felt a bit disoriented in the morning and lost track of time.
The front desk lady provided exceptional service; she was incredibly patient and attentive, even when I asked to change rooms multiple times. I'd definitely recommend the owner give her a commendation, haha.
Overall, everything was good, but there were two issues I was quite unhappy with. Firstly, the elevator doesn't go directly to all floors, and when there was a wedding banquet upstairs, the elevator skipped our floor entirely. Secondly, the room's soundproofing was absolutely terrible!!!!! At 2:30 AM, I was woken up by the neighbors watching a TV show and discussing the plot. I could hear everything crystal clear, and it didn't stop until 4 AM. It seemed other guests could hear it too, as someone even knocked on their door.
Being utterly exhausted yet forced awake was truly a torment. After only three hours of sleep, I woke up feeling completely lost and out of sorts. 😅
