Haha… The bathroom was a bit dated; the air conditioning was probably a retrofit, so it had its own remote control, not a panel on the wall. The breakfast was simple, with limited options. If you wanted coffee, you had to ask the waiter, and they would brew a pot for you. It's very close to Vevey train station—just cross the road from the exit. So, there are plenty of surrounding supermarkets, restaurants, and bus stops, making it quite convenient. The booked room is relatively spacious, and our temporary request for an extra bed was easily fulfilled. The room type we chose also comes with a kitchen, equipped with tableware, cooking utensils, and a microwave. For Chinese people who are used to drinking hot water and eating warm meals, after being ”tortured” by all the cold bread and cold salads in the Swiss German-speaking region, it’s such a relief to finally be able to buy cold food from the supermarket, take it back to the room, and heat it up before eating. Haha... The bathroom facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner seems to be retrofitted too, so it has a separate remote control instead of being controlled by a panel on the wall.
