"All was good. At check-in, they forgot to give me a card for the towels. They now have a strict policy for getting towels, which was a bit stressful, but the towel hut lady was kind and gave me towels anyway.
The room smelled of mold, and I had to buy Lysol to cover the odor. The oven did not work, and the sink was plugged. The cleaning lady was very nice, though.
The only real issue I had was at the bar. What seemed to be a dutch supervisor named Roderick made me feel very uneasy. He grabbed the bartender and was clearly talking about me and a friend I had over. So unprofessional. If you have doubts about something, address it more subtly. That ruined my whole experience, and I never went back to the bar at The Links. He is obviously not service-minded, which is a real concern on the island overall."
