"The hotel is nice, the facilities look good. The service is not that good though, one day we didn't get the room service. And for breakfast we had to wait every day to get basic stuff like plates or cluttery, and also wait for food that took long to replenish."

"Came over after a terrible experience at Rainforest and it was like heaven on earth. The hotel is conveniently located with a bus stop 5 min walk outside that takes you to the airport and the waterfalls at hourly frequency. There is also a taxi operator right across the hotel. The hotel staff immediately walked out to assist with our luggage upon our arrival and was extremely hospitable. A complimentary 25 min visit to the sauna was included, gimmicky but it was a nice touch. The room was large, spacious and clean. AC was reliable as was the hot water and water pressure. Breakfast was basic but there was a large spread. We had an enjoyable experience."

"The hotel is right next to the 'One Glance, Three Countries' spot, which is a bit far from the Grand Waterfall. The Grand Waterfall is very close to the airport, so if you're short on time, going back and forth would be very inconvenient. The hotel offers food at any time, which is incredibly convenient!"

"We arrived at night according to the navigation guidelines. All the way to the black light, I thought I went to the wilderness. The hotel is very wonderful. The room can only accommodate 2 people. The children over 3 years old will have to pay 60 yuan for the room. The half-day price is almost noisy and the final price is 40 dollars. The room decoration design is very simple, almost no decoration. The toilet door is facing the bed, the room on the first floor is simpler, two small beds of one meter wide, no carpet. In China, it is completely incompatible with the five-star standard."

"This hotel is located inside the Iguaçu National Park, offering a beautiful environment and incredibly convenient access to the Iguaçu Falls. A big plus is that you only need to purchase the park entrance ticket once for your entire stay. The hotel directly faces the falls, so you get breathtaking panoramic views during every meal. The staff are all warm and friendly, and they were very helpful with any requests we had. The food at the restaurant was delicious, although I wish there were more vegetable options. Also, the room was a bit on the smaller side, but everything else was fine."

"If you are planning to stay at Mercure Iguazu Hotel Iru, do yourself a favor: read their pre-arrival emails for the entertainment value, but never actually book their ”exclusive” private car service. Unless, of course, you’ve had a few too many glasses of Malbec and feel like donating your money to a creative writing project. Here’s why the hotel’s transport service is a ”must-avoid”: The front desk will happily quote you a price that is roughly 130% of the market rate (think 60,000 Pesos when the standard round-trip to the National Park is 40,000). They’ll justify this with flowery language about it being a ”private service” and the costs of ”empty legs.” That ”luxury” private car? It’s just a slightly cleaner-than-average van or a 7-seater SUV. If that’s worth a 50% markup to you, you’ll love it  I arranged a pickup for 2:00 PM. I even messaged the driver at 1:50 PM to confirm I’d be ready by 2:10 PM. In a stunning display of ”Mercure time,” the driver finally graced me with his presence at 2:45 PM. I suppose I should thank God he wasn't over an hour late, but sitting at the park entrance for 35 minutes while paying ”premium” rates really added that extra sparkle to my trip. The hotel is fine, but their transport service is a blatant scam wrapped in a ”private car” label. Save your money, call a local taxi or use a ride-hailing app, and spend that 20,000 Peso difference on literally anything else. You’ll get to the park faster and with much less resentment."

"We arrived before 9am and could check into our room straightaway. Very grateful to be able to do so and focus on getting to Iguazu Falls. We had no idea how to get there and the receptionist swiftly settled for us by helping us book return transport. The room was spacious and had good views. Nothing luxurious but serves it's purpose well. See pic. The breakfast was nothing fancy but decent. There are 2 swimming pools. One at ground level, one at 9th floor. You can fill up your bottles at the gym, basically all I needed."

"We stayed in room 202 of the independent cabin for three consecutive nights. The location of the hotel and the overall natural environment are good. It is more natural and you can see wild thorn guinea pigs in the garden. Not far from the airport and the waterfall, 25 knives a one-way taxi. Breakfast is more basic. There is a pool. The room is old, the facilities are old, the hair dryer is very small, and the table is cracked. The service attitude is very good, and there will be feedback if there is a problem. On the first night, I found that the lights around the house were broken. After the feedback, some of them were repaired on the second night. But from the next day, I began to communicate with the hotel to replace it with another empty room of 201. The front desk brother said that it was booked. But the next night, I found that there was no, and the 201 room was empty. The room was not cleaned, the garbage was not dumped, but the lights and air conditioning in the room were turned off, indicating that someone had entered, why not clean? Don't change the trash can and bathroom bath towels? Did not change the sheets. The front desk said that because we didn't put the sign that needed to be cleaned outside the door. Not at all. I want to change to the clean and unmanned room 201 next door, and the front desk will not change it. No one cleaned it. On the third day, the room made the bed, but did not change the sheets, and cleaned the trash can. In short, there is a problem, the hotel will respond, but it is not very rectified, and it is not given to the vacant room. Very strange and difficult to understand! I should not live next time. Although the natural environment is good."
