fantastic! The location is excellent and the hotel is well managed. I do. It hesitate to recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to stay one or a couple of nights I the beautiful city of Heidelberg. The breakfast is variable and rich. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful! The location is great for visits in the old town but also for early morning walks in the nearby forest

Breakfast: Amazing food, view from breakfast was the highlight
Room: Stayed for several nights, had sparkling water free bottle for first day, but water was not provided for the remaining days. I ended up boiling water with the coffee machine and had water with coffee taste for those days, because there were no kettles. If you like coffee, this would perfect though. Overall, would still highly recommend the hotel despite the ”coffee water”.
Noise: Very quiet and peaceful. I noted some comments said it was loud, but I couldn't hear any train sound. Great for business trip.

The hotel is right outside the train station. The room is average, but it has everything you need. It is simple, comfortable and new. You can check in via the self-service machine, which is more than expected. It is cost-effective and has a good location. You can walk to the attractions.

Although it was a room-only stay, we had no problems. We needed to accommodate an additional person at short notice, but the front desk was able to prepare a room for us, which was a great help. It took about 30 minutes because I'm not good at communicating, but they were very kind and helpful, and even took photos for us.
The room was clean and the environment was quiet, so we could relax. You can see Heidelberg Castle from the elevator hall, so you can see a beautiful night view at night.

Location: across the street, ~5 mins from the hbf.
Reception: allowed early check in; they don’t always have someone at the counter so just give them a call and they will open the door for you (met some other guests, really nice people who helped me make the call!)
Lift: old and small but it works!
Room: double bed = 2 single bed merge together. had some flies initially because they left the window open to air it, service staff helped to get the flies out.
Toilet: small but manageable if you are petite, may not be suitable for big size people as the bathing area is small.
Transport: took RNV20 to and fro to the furnicular (which led to other tourist areas), super convenient!

The whole hotel looks old, and the bathroom door in the room can't be closed. The air conditioning has problems—it's constantly cold, and there is no heating. However, the front desk staff and restaurant service personnel are relatively friendly. The breakfast selection is also quite rich. However, compared to four-star hotels in Taiwan, the facilities here seem outdated. Taiwan’s hotels are newer and cleaner, and the food selection is also more abundant.

Non-24-hour front desk, self-check-in, very convenient. Check out is super simple, you can put your room card into the designated box. I wanted to leave my luggage here, but I needed to send a message to the hotel administrator, and the store announcement was posted on the back of the second door at the entrance. The room is clean and well equipped, and you need to bring your own slippers and toiletries.

The location is a bit disappointing, but if you give that up, it's the best hotel. But I think the location was good enough since it was less than 15 minutes away by tram. The facilities and service are really great

The street at the door is full of food and souvenirs. It is usually bustling and crowded. This is a bit inconvenient for driving. Usually the car can't get in, so you have to put your luggage at the intersection and move in. If you leave early, you can drive the car over and park your luggage at the door. The car is parked in an acceptable parking lot a little farther away. Because this hotel itself is also a restaurant, it is a restaurant and accommodation, so there is no lobby on the first floor, all dining tables, the hotel reception counter is very small, usually not always there, it seems that the hotel room is only a dozen, the window of the room is facing the bustling street, but fortunately, It's not noisy, although earplugs are seen on the bedside table, which is obviously used for the guests to block the ears and prevent noise. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and tidy, there was a sliding door between the living room and the bedroom, which could be separated into two independent spaces, and the bathroom was separated into dry and wet areas, which was better than most triple rooms in hotels, and the price/performance ratio was super high!

BBeijixingkaoyaA very bad experience. I checked into the hotel on the night of January 30, 25. After checking in, I took a door card to a nearby supermarket to buy some snacks. When I came back, I was absent-mindedly looking at my phone and accidentally swiped the door of the next room. Shockingly, the door card of my room actually swiped the door of the other room. An Indian man in the room and I looked at each other, and then explained the whole story. We were extremely shocked. I apologized and left.
Because we had traveled a long way, we were very tired that night and only stayed for one night. We left the next morning. And it was our door card that swiped the door of the next room. I didn’t know how to complain to the hotel at the time, so I used the suitcase and stool to block the door that night. I didn’t know if someone else’s door card could open our door. I drove away early the next morning.

CcclantianHotel front desk service is very good. It is a very old hotel, the key we used feels like the 18th century. Most rooms have terraces. It feels like a typical German country-style hotel with a good view around. It is about 10 minutes drive from the King Lake boat ride and about 30-40 minutes walk.
The bed is soft and the bathroom is small.

The room is more spacious. Compared with the hotels in Frankfurt, the heating in the room is sufficient. The front desk of the hotel has bread and coffee every day, which can be taken for free. The croissants are delicious;
The hotel breakfast is 10EUR/person, which is not suitable for the Chinese stomach and the variety is barren; there is a dining cart on the road in front of the hotel, and the roasted chicken legs are not bad, 2 euros apiece.

AAnonymous UserThe room is very chic, the suites inside and outside are all 1.2 meters single beds, and the inner room is two single beds together. Pure self-check in is still the first time. It's a bit noisy by the aisle.
Luggage can be stored, but it is the second floor of the elevator. The first time I saw the elevator door, I needed to manually open it. Exquisite small hotel.
It is a minute's walk from Heidelberg City, and it is recommended to go to the castle to Uber6-7 knife.

MMAll in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.
