"It took 8 hours to drive from Shanghai to Qiandao Lake during the Qingming Festival. When I arrived at the hotel, the fatigue was relieved by the warm atmosphere in front of me, and even turned into excitement.
The three-day and two-night stay was very good, and the holiday feeling was full.
This is a very attentive hotel, with a low-key design and natural beauty (the photos were taken from the hotel). The hardware and ingredients are of high quality, and the subtle and warm service is a plus. I will choose Keren next time."

"A 5* hotel for Chinese customers, not international guests.
The hotel facilities are really nice with nice bedrooms and the park around the hotel is a real plus. They also propose a lot of activities. On that side, this is up to intercontinental standards or even above.
However, there were 3 points that were disappointing and for us are not up to standards for a 5 stars hotel:
- no English-speaking staff is not acceptable for an international brand. We could not communicate at the reception or restaurant.
- it is mentioned 4 restaurants are open on the website and in the public area (1 Japanese, 1 Chinese, 1 buffet and 1 international) while actually only 2 were opened : the Chinese and international one. The latter is not up to international standard: no dessert menu, drinks menu only available in Chinese and the quality was average at best.
- Service for food and drinks is generally speaking very slow (1h to get hamburger while being the only customer/ +30mn to get drinks at the bar) even though the staff is nice."

"The experience of staying at Qiandao Lake Sheraton completely refreshed my expectations for resort hotels! The room is very large, with a warm and modern layout. The floor-to-ceiling windows face the beautiful scenery of Qiandao Lake. In the morning, I make a cup of coffee by the window and watch the mist on the lake, as if I were in an ink painting. Such a view is definitely worth the room price!
Breakfast is definitely a surprise-from Chinese freshly made dim sum, black rice balls, to Western exquisite dessert tables, there are many choices to start the day in a good mood! I also want to praise the caring housekeeper Cora Pan. From the itinerary suggestions before check-in to the warm greetings every day, the service is meticulous and makes people feel warm like a friend!
The high-speed rail station shuttle service provided by the hotel is also a super plus! It saves the trouble of dragging luggage around. The overall experience is impeccable. It is definitely a highlight memory of the trip to Qiandao Lake. I strongly recommend it to all relatives who pursue quality and service."

"It’s was our first time in the resort stay only one night but our stay was very pleasant tks to all the staff very helpful, we booked garden view but they help us upgrade to lake view and special tks to MAKSIM for his hospitality and help,
The resort it’s every well located easy to find ,
The room very clean and comfortable, the restaurant have very good and testy food, the breakfast buffet was great.
All the recreational area are spectacular.

"A very sentimental, stylish and quality B&B.
The environment is very good. The house is surrounded by sycamores and bamboo forests. It feels like sleeping in nature. You fall asleep listening to the chirping of insects at night and wake up to the singing of birds in the morning.
There are wicker chairs on the balcony outside the room, where you can chat, daze, and watch the scenery. The design of the room is very warm, humane, and multi-functional. There is an office desk for working or studying together, and a tatami for lazing around together. Air conditioning, floor heating, heaters, humidifiers, disinfection cabinets, etc. are all available, paying great attention to the quality of life.
The public space is fashionable and simple. Friends in the same place said that every place is very ”Li Ziqi”, and it is very photogenic when you take pictures casually. It is especially suitable for people who like to take pictures. It is highly recommended!
The owner of the B&B is a person who is very sentimental and understands aesthetics. Many small details of the design are on my mind. I will find some small surprises from time to time during leisure and entertainment. Awesome.

"I brought my parents to Qiandao Lake Qi Yue Resort on April 7. The courtyard here is deep and secluded, the scenery is beautiful and unique, the lake water is crystal clear, and the air is fresh. It can be said to be a natural oxygen bar. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the ”housekeeper Xiao Fang” welcomed us warmly and provided us with detailed help and introductions to the surrounding attractions. I would like to give special praise to ”housekeeper Xiao Fang”. We were generally satisfied with our stay at Qiandao LakeQiyue Resort, especially the all-inclusive model here. We will definitely come back next time we are on vacation. "

"The hotel is generally attracting families. The facilities are good, but don't quite reach premium level.
Something that bothered me a lot was the fact, that we booked rooms with lake view. However our rooms were on the opposite site of the lake and we could see only a tiny fragment of it and not actually the real view over the lake. Under that definition, every room could count as lake view, but that isn't quite the understanding I have of it."

"The following points are worth praising:
The lobby manager Xiutian was very enthusiastic and sent welcome fruit drinks;
It is great to have a laundry room. I feel that having a laundry room has become a necessary condition for me to book a hotel in the future;
The breakfast is also good, quite rich. The children ate tea eggs, bread, white porridge and juice;
The children's playground is also good. The children played in it for a long time. It is a must-choose parent-child hotel for lying-flat travel with children;
I didn't experience the swimming pool because the weather was a little cold;
A small episode, there is a happy dog downstairs in the hotel. It doesn't have any class flavor. I envy it instantly when I see it. Why can't I be happy like him by playing with a branch?

"We had a great time in the bright resort for our weekend bike trip round Qiandao lake. The room was big, the view was very nice and having the hot springs after a long day on the bike was great. It was very clean and the breakfast was ok considering the overall price. Service was very good, we had some special requests because of our bikes and checkout-time which was super easy to align with the front desk. We directly got the contact of 温柔大哥欧耶耶 who was super nice, answered super fast and really gave us the feeling she want to make our stay special and welcoming. Thanks for a great weekend"

MMaarten WillemsVery friendly and super helpful host family. Delicious prepared meals at times when desired indoor or outdoor. Tips for the area. Comfortable, modern room with beautiful furniture, bathroom incl freestanding bathtub in the room and beamer screen. Modern spacious building with warm and cozy feeling. TV. Bicycle could be parked on the property, use of new fairly new kayak gear with supported boat by the host and their friendly dogs. And lighting fireworks was also offered (for free) At departure, a goody bag with homemade snacks and fruit was provided. It was chilly in the lobby and eating area. We had to wear jackets indoor. Total it was very pleasant and we can definitely recommend it. Pets and kids are welcome.

JJOOZWAYI have always wanted to experience the beauty of Qiandao Lake. It was my birthday so I rewarded myself with a trip to Qiandao Lake. For such a leisurely vacation, the choice of homestay is so important! Yungu Songjian Homestay was planted as soon as I saw its pictures. It is surrounded by mountains and has a white two-story building. It has a unique atmosphere even on rainy days. It also has a large swimming pool. It is also very good for taking photos at night. The afternoon tea is exquisite and delicious. They can also provide full meals. They are all authentic specialties. They are delicious and tasty. The staff of the homestay are very enthusiastic. They will take the initiative to ask about your needs and everything is arranged properly! You can feel the kindness and warmth. This really gave me a great experience of the trip to Qiandao Lake!

GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable and spacious for the family of 4 of us. Unfortunately the weather was against us and rained everyday whole day during our visit and couldn’t go do sightseeing by foot.
The “guest bathroom” drain was releasing a very unpleasant stinky smell throughout our visit. Highly recommend to spend a few RMB and buy the drain smell problem solver (see picture attached). Promise it will solve the problem!! Installed it in all our apartments where we lived in China that had the same issue.
Our daughter (and us) enjoyed the playroom even though the a/c systems did not allow warm air to heat the room (setting was on hot= 35 degrees Celsius, high speed, but never went over 15 degrees Celsius). Cleanliness could be looked at, lots of human hair lying around.
Reception could possibly take an English course to accommodate non-Chinese speakers, but the language translator came in handy.
Breakfast was mainly Chinese like. But good variety, shouldn’t go hungry.

AAnonymous UserI had a fantastic stay at Haiwaihai Hotel! The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options, including fresh fruits, pastries, and local dishes.
The hotel’s location is ideal, just a short distance from the stunning Qiandao Lake Scenic Area (Central Lake Area), where I enjoyed beautiful views and outdoor activities. Additionally, I was pleased to find several nearby restaurants offering halal food options, making it convenient for Muslim travelers.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always willing to help with any requests. I highly recommend Haiwaihai Hotel for anyone visiting the area!

It is very convenient to take a boat and eat. The fish street next to the hotel is very convenient for eating. The hotel front desk service Enthusiastic and patiently explained to us if we had any questions. It was great. We will come again next time.

AAnyaWe had such a wonderful time at Voco! The hotel is very clean and beautiful. The views of the lake are gorgeous- especially from the breakfast restaurant and the gym. You can watch the sun set right over the water. The hotel staff members were friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious and there are plenty of options. I do think the restaurant prices for lunch/dinner are a bit high, but the hotel is just a walk away from other restaurants. It’s located on Yangguang Road, right along a running/walking path next to the lake. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Qiandaohu!

Sshaoping19The hotel's name isn't particularly memorable, but I booked a suite for two nights on short notice and was very impressed. The suite is over 100 square meters, offering ample space for two children to crawl around freely.
The hotel enjoys an excellent location, and its overall architectural design is quite impressive, with a resort-style layout where buildings artfully encircle a central landscape. The three outdoor swimming pools provide plenty of fun for the kids.
The service was surprisingly good. They offer a WeChat concierge service, and the staff at the front desk, Chinese restaurant, Western restaurant, and housekeeping were all very polite and service-oriented. Notably, the front desk service was significantly better than at the Voco hotel where I stayed for the previous two nights.
As for areas for improvement, the hotel's facilities feel a bit dated; they are certainly not new. Some exterior walls have climbing vegetation, and a few surface tiles are falling off. From the balcony of our luxury sea view suite, a couple of large trees unfortunately obstruct the view. The landscape design could definitely use an update. Inside the room, the blackout was inadequate, and we had to request technical staff to set up a temporary solution. Furthermore, it's a pity that the hotel's pier is abandoned, despite being in an excellent location.
Overall, the hotel boasts an excellent location and a well-designed architectural layout. If the facilities were renovated, the landscaping optimized, and the overall service procedures more systematized, it could easily become one of the leading hotels in Qiandao Lake in terms of overall quality and competitiveness.

AAlexander 压力山大The hotel is located in the best spot in the town, so you you'll find it very convenient roaming around from here. The place is surrounded by the best fish restaurants. There's a bike rental right in front of the hotel.
The room was clean is spacious. The shower is awesome in case you need to warm yourself up real quick after a winter walk. I strongly recommend to you to get a round corner room (ours was 2607) with the city view, in this case you'll have a purely magnificent panoramic view on the mountain valley to the Sunset side + city with the night city lights + a part of the lake (check out the photos).
The service was great. They brought us fruit as a Chinese New Year gift.
We had a late train back to Hangzhou and the weather was nasty outside, they agreed to let us stay until 20:00 for half the price.
The TV had a lot of movies in English, so it was great too. Breakfast was a typical Chinese one, but I found something for myself as well and it was enough.
The mini fridge was removed from the room for some weird reason, as I understand, since there's a place for it, but that's not a big deal.
We had an awesome time staying here and definitely will come here again soon!

GGeorgina-EmilyI cannot even begin to describe how amazing our stay was at The Deyishe Inn. The location itself is right on the lake with the most spectacular views. At night the sky was filled with stars creating the most romantic setting. The staff were friendly, kind, welcoming and made us feel at home. They cared about our needs and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be and more. In the evening, we went and watched the local show, and the hotel helped us purchase the tickets and made sure we got there okay and were constantly making sure we had everything we needed. Located 10 minutes away from the local beer museum and town, it is also close enough to enjoy some tourist attractions while still giving the scene of escaping to paradise. If you want a getaway that is worth the money and will give you life-long memories, I cannot recommend The Deyishe Inn enough!

This hotel 🏨 is GORGEOUS. Absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t decide which photos to use for my photoshoot because there are so many great pictures. The hotel is perfect for instagram or social media.
The service 👨✈️ was amazing. The staff are very friendly and accommodating to all our needs. The manager went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.
The food 🍱 was delicious! There are many different choices and set options. We especially loved the fried pork.
Negatives: 😕
Location 📍you can’t hike or explore anywhere around this hotel. You are essentially stuck to this property. All activities are at least 30min-2 hour drive away.
Room design 🛏️ I included this in the photos, the bed is on a wooden stand with sharp edges and it’s very easily to run into it and forget it’s there. My bf and I both hit our shins pretty hard on it, it was painful.
Drinks🥂 it was my birthday and I wanted to enjoy some cocktails or champagne with this view, but you are limited to beer 🍺 only. Just bottled Budweiser and Tsingtao.
Overall, I’d stay again if I wanted to relax in peace for the weekend. Bring your own alcohol.
