What the hell is this... Don't come here. I could hear the snoring next door clearly. I didn't sleep all night. The parking downstairs costs 7 Swiss francs. They are very discriminatory against online bookings. They told me that next time I can book directly at the hotel and parking is free. The soundproofing is really unacceptable. Next time I would rather sleep in the car than stay here. The toilet and bathroom are shared, and the main problem is the soundproofing. My family of 3 including me stayed for 2 nights in mid-September.
I booked one double room and one single room. First of all, the location is within 10 minutes from Interlaken West Station. The room felt a bit chilly, but the blanket was warm, so I slept well.
I booked 2 rooms, so I will write a review for each.
- Double room: Not spacious. Has a private bathroom. The water pressure in the bathroom is weak. It is okay to stay.
- Single room: There is a disadvantage that you have to carry your luggage up the stairs to the attic on the top floor. The size is okay for staying alone. Not good soundproofing. Has a private sink. You have to use the shared bathroom, but it is very clean and well-maintained.
The reception was friendly, and there was an elevator, so you can only carry your luggage (you have to put your luggage in the elevator, close the door, go up the stairs to the upper floor, and press the button until the elevator comes up. It was very unique). Other than that, it was a little inconvenient, but overall, it was okay! I didn't eat breakfast, but I was able to use the restaurant on the first floor, and it was nice to use because there was a microwave, coffee pot, and cups^^
Another advantage is that you can pay the city tax when you check in and receive a guest card (free transportation card)! I recommend it if your only purpose is to stay^^
