Because the hotel is located in the pedestrian street, a accidentally self-driving car 🚗 broke in, was chased by the police car 🚓 and fined 25 euros. The parking lot 🅿️ is located underground in the commercial center opposite the hotel. I asked twice to find it. Perfect location. East walking to the coolest town along our European journey. Room was basic, clean and very comfy beds. We enjoyed the sauna room in the evening. Only suggestion is to have coffee in the rooms or at least in the lobby free of charge for guests.

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

Coming back to this wonderful hotel always brings us warm feeling. Start from check in with Ms. Maria who remembers us and was so helpful and attentive. The room was excellent and the view was spectacular. Innsbruck always close to our hearts. Mr.Deniz was very kind to us and we felt so loved . we were only spending one night in Innsbruck, so a hotel made more sense. Highly rated on Hotels.com, we chose this one. It is definitely more trendy/hipster vibe, with multiple pillow options and alternative air conditioning. The thing that might throw some folks is the all-glass, see-through bathroom. We had encountered something like this several years ago had a hotel in Copenhagen. Both the shower and toilet are glass-enclosed, with a sliding door shared between them. When the door is closed to the toilet, a frosted section of the glass is appropriately placed so that some modicum of discretion is retained. However, the head and feet are plainly visible, and the last thing you want to see after breakfast is your significant others face while they are straining on a painful deuce. The shower, on the other hand, has no discreetly placed frosting anywhere, so you get to see the whole fruit basket…as it were. After looking at pictures on the TripAdvisor page for the hotel, it appears that not all the rooms have this interesting see-through toilet/shower combo. If this kind of thing bothers you, make sure to request a room that works better for you. That being said, both toilet and shower work fine, although the shower is only partially enclosed by a partition wall, leading to a very wet bathroom floor. The bed was quite comfy as well. A very good buffet breakfast was available at a decent price. We were able to park less than a block away in a private lot for a reasonable fee. All in all, a very good stay and we enjoyed our cells. It is a hotel with a very good location next to the train station. There are many convenience stores inside the train station. I traveled to visit the festive Christmas market within walking distance. And likewise, the city is not big when staying at this hotel. You can take a walking tour to see the Innes River. and pastel-colored buildings conveniently Including various tourist attractions, it is easy to walk. Plus, the view from the bedroom of the snow-capped mountains is very beautiful. The staff were very nice, good service, most impressive.

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

Located on the outskirts of Innsbruck the hostel is relatively easy to get to. From the central station you just walk around the corner and catch the number 3 tram (heading for Amras). After a few stops you get off at `Pilippine-welser strabe’ and then walk for about ten minutes. Incidentally, if your flight is a morning one, don’t turn up at the hostel in the hope of an early check-in as there is no receptionist until 14.00. So unless you want to sit outside and twiddle your thumbs you would be better off placing your bags in one of the rail station lockers and having a look around the city. Our room was small and basic (no television etc.) and our allocated bathroom was across the corridor. But it was all high spec and, in keeping with the rest of the hostel, spotlessly clean. The receptionists were polite, knowledgeable and helpful (don’t forget to ask for your welcome card which gives you free travel on the trams and buses within the city). Breakfast was more than sufficient to keep us going for most of the day, although some might feel that the choice on offer a bit limited. Should we ever return to Innsbruck we’d be happy to stay at the Marmota again.

Here you feel at home immediately! At the reception, at the bar, at the restaurant always friendly staff. The owners are also on site and live customer care pax excellence! The rooms are very skillful and very well equipped. The food is high and it's something for everyone. Here you'll be very happy to see me again

We spent one night in this hotel during a roadtrip. The hotel is magnificent and completely quiet. The rooms are very spacious, with a pretty terrace and very comfortable bedding. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning but this seems to be the case in many hotels in the mountains. It was very hot during our stay and the night was not very relaxing... There is a large spa accessible free of charge as well as a swimming pool and it is very pleasant to relax there. The breakfast was simply extraordinary: a wide variety of fresh and refined products. The restaurant was unfortunately closed the evening we were there and this was a problem for us as we were on a motorbike and no restaurant was within reasonable walking distance. That’s when Monique, the receptionist, naturally offered us to take her car so we could go eat! We couldn’t believe such kindness! We didn't dare leave for an entire evening in his car and so borrowed it to get takeaway pizzas not far from the hotel. She then brought us the necessary cutlery and a bottle of wine. We were truly touched by such kindness and I would like to take advantage of this comment to thank her again!
