Terminal 2 Transit Hotel Incheon Airport

Had a layover in Incheon on my way to Boston. The hotel is conveniently located airside within the airport, so there's no need to clear immigration. It was incredibly close to my gate (248) for my connecting flight the next day. Right across from the hotel, there were duty-free shops and restaurants, which was super convenient. The room was small, but clean. The only downside was the lack of a window. Rooms seemed to be in high demand during my stay, so I made sure to book in advance.

I chose this transit hotel because I had an overnight layover at Incheon T2 Airport in South Korea. **Overall Impression:** * **Price:** The price felt a bit steep considering the room size and facilities. * **Room:** The room wasn't very spacious, but the amenities were sufficient for an overnight stay. * **Cleanliness:** Overall, it was acceptable, but upon closer inspection, I noticed some water stains and mildew under the showerhead in the bathroom, and the toilet wasn't thoroughly cleaned. I even disinfected it myself before use. So, not exceptionally clean. * **Location:** This is its strongest selling point! The hotel is situated directly above the airport's commercial zone, providing easy access to restaurants and relaxation areas just a short walk away. It was also incredibly close to my boarding gate the next morning, which saved a lot of time. * **Service:** The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, quickly assisting with requests like borrowing a charger. * **Air Conditioning:** My only minor complaint was that the room had central air conditioning, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. The room felt a bit chilly overall. **Summary:** Overall, if you're just transiting and need a convenient place to stay for one night, this hotel is a viable option. Its unbeatable location and decent service make it comfortable enough. However, those with higher expectations for price and cleanliness might find the value for money to be just average. If you have a layover of more than six or seven hours and want to get some proper rest, this place is quite suitable.
