Great
CChris ThomsonAt the front desk, they convinced me to upgrade to the Club room, where I would get Club Lounge access. They did give me a 2:00 pm late check-out, which was really nice. My flight the next day was delayed and postponed until the following day. So I needed to book a 2nd night. I found this out the next morning. Since the prices of the rooms literally almost doubled, I did not get the room with Club Access. When I went to the Club Lounge at 12:00 'ish, they told me I don't have access and I need to leave. I told them that I have a late check-out until 2 pm, so I should have access until 2:00 pm. They told me NO, I do not have Club Access. After 5-8 minutes of debating with them, they finally understood (or they got tired of me arguing) and said I can have the club access until 2:00 pm. I left and told them Forget it. Who wants to see their faces again when they probably think I'm being a rude and disrespectful American. For a 5-star hotel, it was not 5-star service. Also, at one of the restaurants, I ordered a house wine for dinner which cost 19,000 won (almost $14) and it was the most disgusting cheap wine. I took 2 sips and couldn't finish anymore. I let them know, and they could care less. I tell you what...I miss the USA proper customer service. In the US they would take off the wine off bill, and at the Front Desk, they probably would have given me complimentary Cub Access for being treated that way. Needless to say, I will no longer stay at the Grand Hyatt again. I would rather go to Paradise Hotel right next door...
JJonjonjonjonjonjonPros:
Near Incheon Airports, especially terminal 2.
Self contained entertainment and food options, many of which are specially curated selections such as the Michael Jordan Restaurant and the food court is aesthetically pleasing to the eye.
Hotel also has a concierge service for taxis.
Casino is open 24 hours with bars and food options available for purchase. Great place to past your time.
Hotel room looks clean.
Hotel looks classy. Walkways are bright and lifts look nice.
2 sinks in toilet, which is the hallmark of a top class hotel.
Beds are reasonably comfortable.
Cons:
Extremely far from the city centre.
Hotel appears to be the sole structure in the middle of barren land, with no human traffic spotted anywhere near the hotel.
Shuttle bus to and from the airport arrives only once an hour and take about 30mins to travel between Incheon Airports and the resort, meaning it could take you up to 1.5 hours to reach the resort from Incheon Airport. Also not available when you need it the most, such as nighttime and if you need to catch an early morning flight. Recommend taking a taxi.
Hotel Concierge coordinating taxi services does not pay attention to your words and tell the taxi driver wrong information, fetching you to the wrong airport terminal resulting in you overpaying for the taxi in time and cost and potentially missing your flight.
The toilet bowl is theoretically great but does not work as intended. The buttons do not respond to your press for the most part.
Most restaurants, including the food court, and shops close early, and i mean really early. So stick to the casino.
SSaintuyaI really liked the hotel, breakfast, and locoation. I was able to come by subway from airport without any hassle. Wonderful food options near the hotel, shopping area, metro were so handy. There is a korean spa nearby and hair salons, massage places, and nail salons. Not many toursits around and the prices were local prices for food, spa, and shopping. Loved the comfortable beds and sheets.
SSlavaI booked this hotel based on the many positive reviews I read. However, I was quite surprised by my experience.
The hotel is clean, not too far from the airport, and offers a shuttle bus. The bed was very clean and comfortable. However, the biggest issue is the noise. The hotel is located right next to the runway, and every departing plane makes the room extremely noisy. Even with earplugs, sleeping was nearly impossible.
Another issue was the towels. They felt low quality and didn’t seem very clean. The check-in process was also slow due to the large number of people arriving with the shuttle bus.
Lastly, what shocked me the most was when I requested a late check-out. The reception manager, Mook, told me that if I left a positive review, he could arrange it. I didn’t expect to see this kind of practice still happening in Korea. This is completely unacceptable.
If you need a quiet night’s sleep, I do not recommend this hotel.
GGuest UserThe hotel is right next to a metro station, very nice and clean. You get a welcome gift card to the hotel café and you can also take the shuttle bus to the airport. There’s a cu right in the lobby so you don’t have to go anywhere. And the beds are super comfy.
GGuest UserUnbeatable sunset sea view! The boss is very friendly. Although the room facilities are a bit old, they are clean. The local restaurants nearby are delicious and cheap. It is only ten minutes away from the airport.
KKirill_KileStayed for four days. Everything is clean and convenient. Bed is comfortable and the room has washing machine. Hotel has all necessary things for comfortable stay. Self check-in/our process is so easy and fast! The only thing that could be improved is absence of single-use slippers, they are only available in vending machine, but should be included. Also only one piece of soap was available, and no toothpaste/brush that was definitely needed during my stay.
LLynn LuaThe hotel is cleaned and the reception ladies are so passionate and polite. We had miss the last shutter bus so we have to take kakao back to hotel due to the late arrival from flight..That cause us spend quite alot of the money in kakao🥺
The nearby have E-mart and CU..As we have a short stay for catch tomorrow next flight. We able to manage get the first shutter bus to airport. Plus, we request the wake up call, it is fully functioning.
But the small is small, is enough for two people..
GGuest UserNice hotel within a mile (walking distance) or terminal 1. They have a bus to collect you at terminal 1, but the walk is much better. Bedroom floor was clean enough to eat off it. The front desk reminded me to remove my shoe when entering the room. View from window, was only the parking lot. Room is much smaller than a normal room at a normal hotel. If you are only looking for a bed, air conditioning, and a bathroom at a great price, this is your hotel. Big problem, like many other comments, is the shower drain is clogged and water spills onto the bathroom floor and drains by the toilet. It seems to be a design flaw, since it is so easy to fix. I liked this hotel and will stay here anytime I have a long layover.
GGuest User1 Star for Navigation and Check-in — Be Prepared If Arriving Late at Night
I arrived in Seoul around 1 AM and spent almost the entire night trying to find how to actually get into this hotel. It was extremely frustrating and stressful, especially after a long flight.
First of all, the walking directions from Google Maps were completely useless. I tried to follow the path on foot, but it led me nowhere, and there was no sidewalk in some areas. I also couldn’t figure out how to catch the shuttle from the 3rd floor of the terminal — I ended up walking a dangerous road alone in the middle of the night.
Even when I finally found the building, there were no signs or clear entrance markings for the hotel. No one around spoke English, and the late hour made everything worse. The WhatsApp response from the hotel was delayed, so I had to figure it all out on my own.
Important tip: you MUST contact the hotel in advance to get check-in instructions — it’s a contactless self-check-in process, and nothing will make sense if you’re trying to figure it out on the spot at night.
In the room:
• Very spacious and clean
• Clean towels and bedsheets
• Heated blanket on the bed (which was a lifesaver)
– Room temperature was fixed at 21°C and couldn’t be changed
Overall, the room itself was very comfortable and well-kept, but the logistics of getting in — especially late at night — were absolutely awful. I strongly suggest the hotel provides a clear video or visual map to help future guests find the way more easily.
