We were told that the onsen was closed. Which must have been a misunderstanding, as we used it later and it was great.
Got a nice welcome drink - even though it was form the machine, it was a nice gesture.
Location was perfect next to the train station and not far from the Henro pilgrimee temple

The price was reasonable and the service was good.
Breakfast was included and was delicious.
They also had electric-assist bicycles available for rental, so
it looked like it would be fun to explore the surrounding area.
