This is a small guesthouse that was renovated from an old house by the sea It may not be very convenient but we hope you will enjoy it
It is in a rural area surrounded by sea and mountains so there are insects You can see the beauty of the Seto Inland seas many islands from the window and it is a 1minute walk to the sandy beach It is simple so that you can feel island life as much as possible but we have all the tools Please be sure to read the house rules

There is no heating in the corridor and bathroom, and it is very cold when you leave the room. The proprietress is very enthusiastic and the food quality is very good.

Located on Bofang Island, a very traditional Japanese-style hotel, the service staff is very kind, there is a supermarket next to it, it is strongly recommended to buy dinner, very delicious, the washing equipment is located outside the room, the room is full of tatami fragrance.

The location is a bit biased, but it happens to be above my travel route. The boss and his wife are very nice. If there is a chance in the future, they will come to set their home.

wonderful experience I had during my stay at Setouchiso. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home.
The accommodations were clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated, making it the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. I especially love the dinner and breakfast, it’s so delicious.
The location was perfect quiet yet conveniently enjoyed the peaceful surroundings where I could relax.

GGuest UserMy wife and I had a wonderful stay at Ryokan Chaume. This family run Ryokan made us feel at home. The manager drove us to and from a terrific onsen nearby and afterwards we were served a delicious multi-course dinner. The drink list was excellent too. After a tasty Japanese style breakfast we needed help making an onward reservation, so the manager made several calls on our behalf and found us a place that had a last minute cancellation. I would recommend the Ryokan Chaume to anyone looking for a high quality inn.

GGuest UserThe room is very nice, with dry and wet separation, which is satisfactory. The hotel is also very new.
However, when I went there 40 minutes before the end of breakfast, most of the dishes were gone, and there were leftovers.
The refills were also very slow, one small dish at a time, and I felt afraid of waste, and I needed to urge them.
In short, the hotel is good, but the breakfast is not satisfactory.

ZZhijiagediyishuaiThe hotel is very conveniently located, just 10 meters from Imabari Station (train and bus), and next door is i.i.imabari! Cycle Station. If you rent a bicycle from Onomichi and ride along the Shimanami Kaido, it is very convenient to change bikes. The hotel also provides room options for car travelers without returning the bikes. The hotel is very cheap, much better than the guest houses or hostels on the small islands of Shimanami, and the price is only half. Of course, if put into domestic standards, the hotel area is only a few square meters, which may be smaller than the Hi-Friends Hotel. Although small, it is clean and sanitary, and free drinks are provided downstairs. This price is indeed very cost-effective.
If you are tired of riding along the Shimanami Kaido, there is a bus stop on each island, and you can take the bus to the hotel with your bicycle.
It's rare to write so many reviews, I hope it can help others in the future!

GGuest Usernice hotel, great amenities. There was a problem with my booking and it seemed that they said it was my fault. I don’t how it could be but they took the position it was me who had to fix it. Also there doesn’t seem to be a consistent hotel policy for travellers with bicycles. I stayed at there different Route Inn and tow it was no problem but this one it was. still a very nice stay.

HHera SzIt is a simple hotel located just next to Jr Imabari. Very convenient for travelers who do not want to walk much, only 3 minutes from the station gate on foot.
There is a small onsen for relaxation and breakfast has a lot of variety of Japanese food options (even curry).
Room is simple but it serves for its purpose.

WWoailvyou1Came here for some business. The hotel is very good in the local area. The breakfast is rich and the scenery is also very good. The price is much more cost-effective than Tokyo and Osaka. It is an authentic Japanese niche place. I will come here for a trip next time.

GGuest UserIt is a long established inn, and it is like a hot spring inn. It was full of Showa retro feeling, such as the cluttered corridors, wooden stairs railings, and tiled wash basins, but it was OK at all because it was a cheap night stay.
The bath is also shared １ Every time two people enter, they lock it. The building is old, but the toilet was a washlet, and the hair dryer and pot in the room were new and clean. The walls are thin, but the guests around me seemed to be sensible, and I was able to spend quiet and comfortable at night. Imabari hand towels are also a nice service. Since it was an online reservation, I asked if I could issue a receipt, but I kindly asked him to issue it. The location is close to Imabari Port, but I walked about 10 minutes from Imabari Station in the shopping street.

GGuest UserThe owner's wife and a female staff member gave us a very detailed explanation. The facilities were very clean. There was a designated bicycle parking shed, so we felt safe.
The hostel was nice, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay.
