Een TOP adresje om te GENIETEN van het begin tot het einde ! Een zeer smaakvol ingerichte hotel/B&B waar alles kraaknet is. Een heerlijk ontbijtbuffet met lokale producten uitgebreid met á la minuut gemaakte warme gerechten. Gastvrouw Elodie, legt haar gasten in de watten, niets is te veel gevraagd en steeds met de glimlach. Wij komen zeker terug !!!

Alles was piekfijn! Heel mooie verzorgde kamers met karakter! Heel goed ontbij, alles was vers! Heel veel keuze en goeie kwaliteit! Elodie was een perfekte gastvrouw! Ze heeft ons goed geholpen, zonder haar op te dringen! Aan echte aanrader!

We really didn’t know what to expect and frankly were quite apprehensive as we usually stay in more well known places, but what a wonderful surprise this was. It’s a small, nice looking building located just an easy five minute walk to the main square, but far enough back to be away from the noise and crowds. We were warmly welcomed by the absolutely amazing hand-on owner Elodie, who gets the award for the absolute best hotel manager ever. In fact every single aspect of our two night stay felt as though we were the relatives of Elodie in her own beautiful home. Our bedroom, called Glory, was a good size as was the bathroom, and beautifully furnished and decorated, right down to the amenities which were selected for quality not price, something we wish all hotels did. The bed was very comfortable, the lighting was good, the shower great - everything perfect right down to the very well stocked complimentary mini-bar. Even though we were the only guests Elodie laid out a large breakfast buffet with freshly made bread and perfect fried eggs and bacon. We highly recommend this as the best place to stay in Ypres.

Elodie is the most gracious hostess. She runs a beautiful hotel and clearly takes huge pride in delivering 1st class experience. The room was spacious and immaculate, plentiful towels and toiletries, fully stocked complimentary mini bar, drinks offered on arrival, dinner suggestions were great and appreciated, communication prompt and friendly, breakfast was a feast to the eyes and was simply perfect. Zeer mooi hotel, grote kamer, super lieve gastvrouw. Er is een gratis minibar in de kamer en een honesty bar in de keuken. Het ontbijtbuffet is fantastisch met ook zelf gemaakt brood en verse producten. Wij hadden de pottery kamer met privéterras. Ik heb genoten.

It would be worth visiting Main Street just to enjoy Eloidie's breakfasts! Freshly baked bread, a piping hot fully-loaded omelette, freshly-made waffles, meats and cheeses, cereals and fruit that might have been picked that morning. Superb. The hotel is spotless, beautiful and beautifully quirky.

We have just returned from a short break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Elodie did everything she could to make it a memorable occasion, not be forgotten. We had stayed at Main Street before but this was the first time that we had been looked after by Elodie. Her attention to detail within our room was excellent, as were the superb breakfasts. Even helping us to select the restaurant for our celebratory dinner worked a treat! Interestingly, during our stay, other guests expressed similar views. Ypres and the surrounding areas have much to offer and staying at Main Street is the icing on the cake!
