Been here for 4 days now, having stayed at the Menorca Occidental for the last 4 summers this really is its poor cousin. Little things like, no water in the rooms? No biggy as there is a shop over the road so maybe I should have brought refillable bottles. The quality of beer and wine is very poor, again no drama I just haven’t really drank, although on holiday I do enjoy a tipple. I have been charged an additional €1000 for my room! Although, I have it in black and white that I booked the same room as I have booked for the last 4 years in Menorca? Why would I change now? Reception very business like not considering my 5th Occidental visit and now up to €30,000.00 in room fees over 5 years. My wife and sister ltd to two glasses of cava during lunch, a third would cost, although you could walk to the pool bar to refill? We are far from lazy, this is really silly and clearly not thought out. Maybe our idea of change has cost us, should the hotel group be consistent? We are due to stay for a further 7 nights but looking at flights home. Ah well nothing lasts forever. I have contacted the BARCELÓ Group and thus far blanked , please do not book here go to Menorca !!

En general la estancia ha sido buena. Pero si q nuestra familia nos gustaría comentarles varios puntos. Sobre la comida y la cocina, queremos dar nuestra enhorabuena porque si ya es difícil cocinar una paella para 4 o para una familia, para cientos de personas es algo muy complejo y todo en general estaba muy bueno. Los puntos negativos sin duda son la limpieza y el sentirse extranjero en tu país. No entendemos como pueden dejar beber y comer a la gente en la piscina, en sus alrededores, etc. Vasos por la piscina, veías a la gente q se le caía la bebida y comida dentro del agua, etc. Después, vasos y suciedad por todas partes, alrededor de las tumbonas donde mis hijos iban corriendo y pisando todo, nos pareció una vergüenza. Sobre el idioma con el equipo de animación. Todos muy amables y muy animados, pero es una vergüenza que las películas sean en inglés con subtítulos en italiano, todas las animaciones el idioma principal el italiano, segundo idioma el inglés, vimos incluso el francés por delante y por último el castellano, nos pareció una auténtica vergüenza y nuestra hija mayor se sintió desplazada incluso, muy mala experiencia. Vas a Ibiza y parece q te excluyen en tu propia tierra.

Hotel muy normalito, Caro en relación calidad/precio. Mala limpieza de habitaciones, toda la mañana libre la habitación y se ponían a hacerla a las 15:30 , interrumpiendo mi descanso xq si no no me la hacían hasta el día siguiente.

Just returned , Pros the breakfast , lunch where ok didn’t try the dinners. That’s it The fizzy juice machines were tasteless and poor quality I found the cups / glasses were all dirty . It’s so cramped around the pools . We spent more money eating out and at shops because it just wasn’t to our standard

Animazione top, i ragazzi sono super professionali, simpatici e per niente invadenti. Gli spettacoli sono incredibili. Un abbraccio a tutto il team: Javi, Nabil, Angelo, Simone, Raymond e le super donne Vittoria, Abigail, Erika, Giorgia e Arianna. Buona la pulizia, buono il buffet, vicino alle attrazioni principali.

The hotel staff are so kind and respectful, if there were any issues they resolved them quickly and effectively. The bar staff mainly Teresea and Manuel was so helpful and kind she went above and beyond and made our night great! Would definitely recommend.
