The Mbanor Manor is a very nice lodge located in a suburb of Victoria Falls. I had assumed that it was in an isolated area but it’s actually in an unusual neighborhood that is filled with boutique inns and lodges. The lodge is 2-3 miles from the Falls and most restaurants which is somewhat inconvenient. They offer a free shuttle during the day which helps a lot. At night they can arrange taxis for you but the costs are double the local rates (one way trip @ $20 vs. $10). The grounds are well maintained and the main buildings are very nice. There’s an outdoor pool with nice lounge chairs but we didn’t use it. Our deluxe villa/suite was very nice. It was the size of a junior suite with a large bathroom and a nice porch. The mini-bar was stocked with complimentary beer and soft drinks. They weren’t very cold though as the mini-bar didn’t work well. WiFi worked was very good. TV had lots of channels but was difficult to use - confusing guide and two remotes, one for volume and one for channels. The place was pretty empty as we didn’t see any other guests during our two days here. This didn’t affect service and the restaurant, though. Both were excellent. The Mbanor Manor is a high quality lodge although a bit out of the way.

Very quiet and luxurious hotel. Rooms are spacious and well decorated with everything needed or wanted. Staff are friendly and helpful. Very few people staying. The restaurant has good food and well served. Very relaxing to stay. Helpful for a visit to the falls.

The service in this hotel is spectacular. Front of house, waiters, chefs: all are excellent and friendly. A very comfortable and comforting experience which allowed us to have a lovely stay despite inclement weather. Linda, Faith, Timothy and many others contributed to a great stay. Thank you Mbano Manor

Exceptional! Service, food, suite… all 5* and then some. There are quite a few lodges in the surrounding area but most are quite “built up” with less greenery/ gardens. Mbano feels like you’re in the bush and surrounded by nature. Food was fresh, tasty and made with quality ingredients. It’s a limited menu so after day 4 got a bit “samey” but consistently high quality. The room was of very high spec with perfect finishes. Everything worked and highly convenient. Room was an excellent size with a substantial outside seating area. Staff were very friendly whether it was reception, restaurant, housekeeping, etc. You will need a car to get around once you leave the property and Victoria Falls is 10-15 minutes. Same to the airport.

Mbano is a world class stay at a must see travel destination. The staff are truly incomparable and pay attention to every detail. My recommendation for anyone visiting Victoria falls is to book your stay here and then call and coordinate all of your activities with their staff. The team here are experts in planning and delivering the best experiences Victoria falls has to offer. Lastly I will add, a part of the stay that wasn’t heavily advertised is how exceptional the food is. The onsite chef prepared one of the best chicken burgers I’ve ever had. Couple that with the traditional oxtail stew and it’s hard to recommend leaving the hotel for a meal (with the exception of the boma and dinner cruise).

We absolutely loved this hotel! 10/10 would recommend this to anyone. The service was phenomenal. The staff was very attentive to our needs and helped us navigate Zimbabwe as it was our first time visiting. It’s a gorgeous hotel with amazing amenities (pool, high tea, delicious meals, etc.).

Wonderful! Beautiful, private, great food, and very close to Victoria Falls. The hotel rooms are very large, with a well organized bathroom, nice air conditioning, and a mosquito net on the bed. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with the breakfast having both a buffet and a hot breakfast you can order.
