What an amazing place. Had a tented suite along the river with access for the wildlife. Accommodation was luxurious, staff could not do enough to help and all inclusive meals excellent. Alongside this were the daily game drives and cruises which were very well done and where we saw lots of wild animals. A definite 5 star experience and one we will treasure forever.

Super Lodge mitten im Zambezi Nationalpark. Sehr freundliches und kompetentes Personal, erstklassige Safaries zu Land und zu Wasser, sehr gutes und abwechslungreiches Essen, große, saubere und kompfortable gut ausgestattete Unterkunft für erstklassige Entspannung. Das einzige negative ist, dass die Zeit zu schnell vergeht und der Urlaub eindeutig zu kurz ist ;-).

Had the great fortune to stay at Old Drift Lodge. The location is magnificent, with each cabin being located very privately by the water, with a deck and pool in front of each one.. Abundance of wildlife wandering around the property from elephants to Hippos, warthogs, antelope, birds.many opportunities to go on a boat on the Zambezi viewing numerous bird species, crocs and hippos. Food is excellent, with great choices and all dietary requests are met. Short drive from the magnificent Victoria Falla.

Our group of three couple had an amazing stay here. Situated right on the banks of the Zambezi river, nestled among wild life, and excellent room with exceptional service! Going to tell all our friends who visit Africa to stay here!! This really was a gem!

I enthusiastically endorse every other positive review of Old Drift Lodge. Our stay at Old Drift far exceeded our expectations. Being transported across the Zambezi river to the camp by boat was a wonderful way to start our visit. And we couldn’t have felt more welcomed upon our arrival. Everyone was so accommodating and everything was perfect. Our guide, Life, is mind-blowingly knowledgeable about everything in the area and is an excellent teacher. He is also a lot of fun. Our morning and afternoon excursions were all fantastic. Our tent was magnificent. Thank you for helping us to have the trip of a lifetime, and to gain a deeper respect and appreciation of African wildlife. We are spreading the word to our friends and family about Old Drift Lodge!

Our suite was rustic with all the amenities we needed, including air conditioning. We loved the deck located yards from the Zambezi, with a dipping pool, awesome breezes and views. Isolated from neighboring suites it was quiet and private. The central lodge was comfortable and inviting. Dining was on the deck, the food presentations beautiful as well as delicious. I can’t rave enough about the kind, professional and friendly staff. We were always greeted with damp, cool towels when we returned from an excursion. All the ranger guides were knowledgeable and proud to show their beautiful country and wildlife. We saw a family of hippos eating in the river, impalas, and more elephants than I could count. You will not be disappointed if you choose this lodge.

Leaving this review on behalf of my parents who stayed at Old Drift Lodge in March 2025 and had the BEST TIME OF THEIR LIVES THERE! They loved the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, who did everything they could to make them feel at home. The room was very comfortable, the food was top-notch (could not ask for better), and the organized activities were phenomenal. The location close to the incredible Falls and the Zambezi River was just perfect. They also appreciated how safe and environmentally friendly the lodge is. Couldn’t recommend it more highly! So many thanks from Naisi and Pierre and big cheers to Solomon and Busani!

Our time at The Old Drift Lodge could not have been more memorable! The lodge and staff were amazing and incredibly friendly. We were in awe of the number of elephants and our time witnessing them up close in the wild, including having them visiting in the camp! Incredible!!! In addition, the staff were awesome, made us feel so special and welcome!! The lodge is incredible, luxury tented rooms on the Zambezi River in the middle of the national park. Elephants coming to drink at the river and doing so right outside side our room! Amazing!
