Hilton Hurghada Plaza

The room was okay, but there were too many rooms on one floor, and it took a long time to get to either elevator. The hotel was packed with Europeans and Americans; I've never seen such a large number of people in a hotel before, and the lobby was always full. The service was average, the breakfast was unpalatable, and the check-in guy didn't even give me a towel card. I wouldn't have known that if I hadn't read other reviews! When it was time to pick up my luggage, the waiter stood there motionless with a stern face, telling us to go in and find it ourselves.

希爾頓的公區是真的不錯，赫爾格達為數不多有綠化的酒店了～地理位置也好，City center就在隔壁，預訂其他項目一般都不用加錢接送。不過房間真的有點老了，給我們升級了一個複式房型，衞生間一直有股怪味，打掃也不及時。不過海景和三餐還是挺棒的

整體是一個大的度假村，環境一流。本來我們定的是單間，看我們帶了小孩，免費給我們升級成7樓的套房，正對無敵海景，簡直不要太棒啦！

We were on our honeymoon and wanted to spend our last night at a very special hotel, the Hilton. But there was absolutely nothing special about this hotel, except perhaps the reception lobby. We were moved against our will to the Hilton apartments across the street because the Hilton hotel was overcrowded, despite having booked a regular Hilton hotel room. This was even sold to us as an "upgrade." But it was all lies and deception. Our apartment bore no resemblance whatsoever to the room pictures shown on Trip.com. The apartment was lousy. The toilets were dirty, the kitchen was perhaps from the 90s, and the kitchen doors were already hanging crooked on their hinges. The veneer on the kitchen cabinets was yellowed and already peeling off. In Europe, the plastic legs of kitchen units are usually covered with a panel; in Africa, they simply look at the Hilton's. There was no balcony. Why should there have been, since the view was only of the trash-filled backyard anyway. There was no alternative thinner duvet to the much too thick one on the bed. The existing duvet would have been better off somewhere in Northern Europe at the Hiton than in Africa in midsummer. A faucet in the apartment dripped all night, making it difficult for me to fall asleep. The sofas, like the kitchen, were cheap and unworthy of the Hiton brand. Absolute junk and a scam. And we paid over 150 euros for the night. It was worth half that at most. That's Egypt: unfortunately, there are far too many rip-off artists, and even an American hotel chain that was once considered reputable has adapted very well to the mentality there.
