This hotel DOES NOT have an AIRPORT SHUTTLE, no matter what you see online or who confirms it over the phone. The hotel is 5 miles from the airport (not 1 mile as advertised).. The website originally said the shuttle was “temporarily unavailable,” then that status was removed, now it’s back again. Before I booked, my husband called to confirm that there was a shuttle and was told the shuttle was in the shop but is now available. So, I booked this hotel since we had a one night layover and didn’t want to rent a car. Well, upon arrival at the airport, we were told there was no shuttle so Uber/Lyft to the hotel and work things out with the manager. There were 5 of us so Uber excel was necessary (you can’t choose vehicle size with Lyft). We were told we could cancel our 3 non-refundable rooms and try another hotel - that was all they could do and no manager was available and they didn’t know where/when they could be reached. We stayed - we had no car to go anywhere and the desk manager told us that the Fairfield next door was not nearly as clean. Here’s the kicker - they KNOW. Their website is unclear, some of the staff is unclear & they are giving no accommodation because they know it would have been a great deal more trouble to go to the hotel that actually does have a shuttle. They get more business this way. It was a total of $80.00 for the Uber Excel to and from the airport. We were told this Hampton is a franchise so corporate Hilton can not help us or tell them what to do. Do better, Mr. Abdul Varani. “Restaurants within walking distance.” Most of the restaurants are on the other side of a very busy highway. You can see them .1 miles away but you can’t walk to them. The mall is reasonably close but walking there (no sidewalks) through parking lots and in an area with lots of dumpsters (to stay out of the road) is no joke. Do not do so alone. However, the Asian City restaurant we walked to was very good. The rooms were clean but the water pressure in our shower was extremely low. The people in the room next to us were extremely loud at 3am. The front desk called their room and they settled for about 10 minutes, than more loud bumps, slams, loud talking and craziness. All the doors squeak and slam so that was on the hotel for giving our neighbors more 3am torture devices. The front desk said they could do nothing else when we called a 2nd time. The main entrance carpet wreaked when bending down to pick up my purse. Breakfast was standard HI fare but I haven’t seen the waffle batter left out in cups for 2 hours like that before - it had a skin over it, yuck. The oatmeal was watery/gooey & way over-cooked. Eggs, sausage, muffins, coffee, toast, etc. - all standard & good. The woman working breakfast/kitchen was very good cleaning & checking everything else. The staff in general was professional except someone should have knocked on the door of the rowdy patrons so it was possible to sleep before paying for another Uber to the airport for our
