Hotels in Hualien Station/Hualien City Urban Area, Hualien

The hotel is very close to the station and main bus station, from which it's possible to reach Taroko National Park. So very convenient for trips outside of Hualien. Not very close to the seaside, night market and city center, but you can easily reach them by bus. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was quite essential, food was not great, and only available from 7 am. Had a good stay overall.

The hotel is conveniently located, with good facilities and hygiene. The rooms are also well soundproofed, and the service staff are warm and welcoming. It is a good accommodation choice. The only complaint is that the parking lot is small and requires some parking skills.

My family and I stayed at this hotel for two nights. We are from India and we highly recommend this hotel for family stays. Their breakfast is good and the services are excellent. They also have a small gym. The staff was very helpful in booking a taxi for us to explore Hualien for a day. Overall, we are pleased and satisfied with our stay.

I stayed there many years ago, and then I stayed in a different room when I came to Hualien. This year I have the opportunity to go back to Tianxi. The interior of the room has been renovated. It is new and comfortable. However, the toilet is still a bit old. I will stay there next time. If given the chance, I would still choose Tianxi.

I used the Trip late bird booking plan and searched for ”Hinoki Residence” in Ji'an Township, Hualien. After reading the reviews and online photos, I thought it was very good, so I also tried staying in a B&B. Because the arrival time will be after 9 p.m., I have to check it out first. Call the store to let them know that we will all be late~ because they can help save the keys and arrange the check-in process later. I have to say that it is really considerate. The room air conditioner and toiletries are also fully prepared~ After all, it takes about 5 hours to drive from Pingtung. Because our itinerary is to go to Ocean Park, the meal is at 8 o'clock. There are about 7 tables for dining, so we have to divide the tables 😂 Breakfast is also very simple: Chinese porridge/toast with sauce And black tea/orange juice It’s probably as simple as that ~ but I hope there will be more options next time For example, milk 🥛 with cereal, etc. Meals: ★★★ The store also sells Hualien Ocean Park tickets🎫 You can buy it, and you can also get discount coupons. However, you can only get a 20% discount on admission to the park, and you cannot directly discount the 120 yuan.

we had a pleasant stay! Though it seems like an old hotel, room interior was fully renovated. It was really clean and well designed. The garden is pretty and good for a nice walk. Only inconvenient thing is that location is a bit away from the center without access to shops like convenient store. Recommended for those who have cars or drivers.

Positives: - Huge room - cable tv (not the usual 第四台） - separate toilet and bathing area - separate shower and tub - tub has ocean view - hotel big on sustainability (no disposable toiletries provided, as well as no bottled water - can fill water using water dispensers outside the rooms) - child friendly hotel with children’s activity room - in house sauna! - pet friendly hotel too with a pet room for pets to stay Negatives: - room has a step up which may be inconvenient for ppl with disabilities - the separate toilet and shower area is in between the sleeping area which may be a bit inconvenient - bed is a tad soft

Service was courteous at the front desk. They were very kind to give me a room before 3pm knowing that I had traveled more than 17 hours and really need to rest. Restaurant service was very slow. They were short of staff. No one was around to take my bill. Food was average. Really liked their cold dish with lotus root and red bean. Dinner buffet was very pricey. Couldn’t quite justify $30 per person. I was disappointed when I went back for the breakfast buffet. They served the same cold dishes and fruits from the previous night. Felt like we were eating leftovers. I picked this hotel because of their outdoor pool. It’s an outdoor 25 meter pool. It was lovely swimming laps and enjoyed the ocean view.

The equipment is very new and the environment is quite comfortable. The only drawback is the hot spring area. The comfort is that the whole area is reserved, but the lighting in the hot spring area is dim at night, which makes people afraid to go there alone. Play some music in the whole environment so that a person alone will not be nervous because of a little wind! !

Nice Hotel, central located, only a few minutes walk to central station. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room with enough space. Free bike rental, breakfast and dinner included. In addition the hotel provides coffee, drinks, snacks and ice cream. Definitely me and my wife can recommended this beautiful hotel.
