EEstelaKThis amazing mountainside bed and breakfast is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Our room had a spectacular view of the city and a nice porch. I later found out the owner had upgraded us to the best room for free since it was empty. Incredible hotel and customer service! We arrived tired after hiking around Toroko Gorge and didn’t want to get a taxi to go to the city to get food. We were going to eat some bread we had with us, but they made us a big pot of delicious noodle soup and didn’t charge us anything! Breakfast was yummy traditional ********* food. They also let us do laundry there for free. The owner gave me his phone number and offered to drive us into town whenever we needed. He said he likes to welcome his guests like friends who are visiting from out of town. My daughter loved playing with the hotel dog, Ahua, and kittens. Just walking around the hotel, you can enjoy fresh mountain air and beautiful scenery. What an incredible stay. So much cheaper and more relaxing than Taipei. I am telling all my friends. I can’t wait to come back!

GGuest UserAbundant breakfast, unlimited supply of drinks and bottled water, and you can see the beautiful sea view from the main road. The guesthouse is very close to Ocean Park only 2 minutes by car. The young boss has good service, and is handsome and hassle Talent, currently single parents are helping their son to recruit a girlfriend. The room equipment and the air-conditioning machine are operating too loudly, and they can’t sleep well. I hope it can be improved.

GGL64Hotel provides free afternoon tea and snacks for guests, as well as supper. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location is good, within walking distance to the night market. The hotel emailed us as we had left some items in our rooms while hurriedly packing our bags. My sister and I were caught in the earthquake on 0403. Thanks to the professional front desk agents, we were able to get to the train station in hope of catching an afternoon train back to Taipei. Unfortunately, after waiting for about 3 hours, we were informed that all trains were cancelled. Our guide, Mason, who took us on the Taroko gorge tour the day before, was super super kind and helpful who went out of his way to rent a car and drove all 7 of us from the tour group to Kaohshiung. We spent the night there before taking the hsr to Taipei. Mason is truly exceptional, authentic and passionate. We are really grateful to Mason. Indeed, we are blessed to have met kind hearted souls in Hualien. Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Hualien, Taiwan.

JJunhongWhen we arrived at the hotel that night, we asked the receptionist to help us check in, but the receptionist asked us to check in on the machine ourselves. As a result, we had to shuttle back and forth between the two buildings without being able to check in. Later, we returned to the previous one. At the counter, I asked the lady to check in. She said there might be something wrong with the machine, dizzy😵💫. In addition, I booked a room for two people and a room for one person, a total of two rooms. When the receptionist gave us the key card, she did not tell us that the room was a large one and a small room. It was not until the next day that I found out that the two people lived in a small room. Room, I think she should tell us about this. Two people can live in a large room without being so crowded. There was also no drinking water in the room, and the front desk staff didn't tell them in advance. Later, we called to inquire and found out that it was on the first floor. The hotel should have let passengers know this in advance, but they didn't. This was a terrible travel experience.

The double room on the 6th floor has a very large indoor space. The whole window overlooks the city view but there is no refrigerator. CCHINGYENIt is a very suitable place for vacation. You can stay in the hotel and relax by the sea. There is also yoga in the morning. Since the accommodation is a little far from the city, you can also enjoy dinner in the hotel if you don't want to go to the city.
There is also a large bathtub in the hotel for bathing. Two people can fit in the bathtub at the same time. The service attitude at the counter is very good. Because of environmental protection now, you need to bring your own toiletries.

The Daoxiang double room we stayed in was very elegant and large, especially the oversized bed which was super comfortable to sleep on. I am an elderly person who is undergoing neck rehabilitation and I am very picky about beds and pillows, but I slept very soundly and deeply here. A big thumbs up to the hotel owner for choosing the hard bed facilities. The room is super clean. Although the hardware equipment is not new, it has a simple and elegant charm, which I like. It's a bit like Kung Fu tea that needs to be savored slowly.
We are an elderly couple who came to Hualien to visit friends. Before checking in, we requested a quiet room with no smoke. We could not stay in the side room due to our physical condition. Although the room had some minor flaws in sound insulation, the hotel met our needs. The peaceful and pleasant environment in the rice fields will give you a good night's sleep.
The backyard also gets high marks, and is perfect for a relaxing stroll.
The breakfast was rich and delicious.
This is very suitable for us who don't need dazzling amusement facilities and come here to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing accommodation environment.
The only drawback is that they don't provide dinner, but we solved that by using the hotel's instant noodles and ordering takeout via mobile phone.
The price is very reasonable and it is a highly recommended accommodation.

@@travel_with_the_sunIt's clean, it's close to the train station, where you can rent a scooter to explore Taroko National Park, also have a gas station next door to refill your scooter and you are next to the main road to go to the National Park. There is enough stuff to cook yourself something. Communication with the landlord on self check-in went well and I could check-in earlier because my bed was free, actually I was the only guest in the dorm on my first of two nights.
It was calm and the entire hostel & bathroom was very clean. I liked, that you can buy razors, one-way towels, toothbrush kit for a small fee, even if I didn't need it.
The only downside, and that's why I gave it -3 stars in amenity was, that the mattress was so hard, it felt like sleeping on the floor. The room had a bit of strange moisture smell, but I could get used to it quickly. If there would be a thicker, less hard mattress, that place would get total points.
On the back door / balcony you have a nice view of the mountains. (The picture attached is taken from the road, but if you crop the lower half, it's what you see)
